Kivana wasn't a cheater, but when she walks in on her fiancè with her sister. Her fiancè thinks she's forgiven him and they have moved past it. Little did he know she was plotting the sweetest revenge.
I let out a breath as I got my make up done. It's the day of the gala and not only did I just finish my bar exam. I'm trying my best not to be anxious to see the fucking results. I had to wait 1 to 3 months just to know if I passed.
"Ms.Stewart are you ok?"
"Huh?" I asked.
"You're shaking." She said.
"Oh I'm sorry, just anxious." I said.
She nodded as she finished my make up, once she was done I got dressed. I heard a knock on my door before Kivan came in.
"You decent?" He asked.
"Yes boy, you can open your eyes." I chuckled.
He removed his hands from his eyes and smiled.
"You will pass...don't stress it." He said.
"I'm not stressing." I said.
"This is me you're talking to." He said.
"You're right." I said.
"You will pass...I know you will." He said.
I smiled and took a few deep breaths calming myself down.
"Come on." He said grabbing my hand.
I followed behind him as we walked out of the guest room. He helped me down the stairs just as Byung exited the kitchen.
"You look breathtaking." He smiled.
Kivan scuffed and rolled his eyes.
"Are you guys ready?" I asked.
"After you." Byung said opening the door.
I walked out with Kivan behind me, this gala was the last thing I wanted to fucking attend. I didn't want to raise questions and concerns by not showing up.
The car ride was awkward to say the least. Between the tension from Byung and Kivan and my anxious ass this was going to be a long night.
We arrived and the valet opened the door before helping me out. Flashed of light hit my eyes before Kivan and Byung stood beside me.
"Let's get this over with." I said.
Byung grabbed my hand as we walked the red carpet. I put on my best fake smile as we posed for pictures. I took a few photos with Kivan before we entered the venue.
As usual...it was over the top, Byung held my hand as we walked around and mingled.
"Gentlemen excuse me, Can I have this dance?" Byung asked.
I fake smiled as I took his hand, we walked onto the dance floor and he pulled me close.
"I know you're anxious about the bar...I believe that you'll pass." He said.

"Yeah because you supported my major since we've been together." I scuffed.
"I know I haven't always been supportive. I haven't always been a lot of things...but I want to change that. I miss you...what I did with Kiara was wrong." He said.
"Why her? Of all people her? Why cheat in the first place?" I whispered.
He clinched his jaw before spinning me around.
"She was there...the stress of becoming CEO and I didn't want to bother you with it. We got drunk and one thing lead to another and...we didn't stop." He explained.
I nodded.
"Do you love her?" I asked.
"I have feelings for her...I won't lie to you anymore." He said locking eyes with me.
I felt my heart break even more.
"Did you sleep with her after I found out? Do not lie to me." I asked.
"No, when you found out I didn't touch her." He said.
I looked at him and slowly nodded my head. Why continue to lie? This was his chance for redemption...for me to back out of my plan. I just gave him an opportunity of a life time and I'll be damned if I get disrespected.
"Ok." I said.
"After the gala...I want to show you something. I wanted to wait until after you got the results but I think this will keep you in good spirits." He smiled.
I smiled as the song finally came to an end.
"Well, I'm going to go do some business mingle. I'll be back." He kissed my cheek.
I watched him walk away and sighed.
"Why the long face?"
I looked up and couldn't help but to smile. He held my gaze and smiled, he looked delicious...very delicious.
"Simon." I said walking closer.
"How are you feeling darling?" He asked.
"I'm...I'm ok." I nodded.
We walked to the bar before sitting down.
"That's good, you look beautiful." He whispered.
"This goes against what you said Mr.Dominic." I said.
"I can't compliment you?" He asked.
I looked at him before grabbing a glass of champagne.
"Whatever Simon." I said taking a sip.
He chuckled, I scanned the crowd before my eyes found an unfamiliar face. He held my gaze before whispering something to his colleague.
His eyes never left mine as he walked through the crowd. Once he was a few inches from me I got a better look at him.
"I'm Chase." He said holding his hand out.
"Kivana." I smiled shaking his hand.
"Pretty name for a pretty woman." He smirked.
I couldn't help but to blush.
"Simon Dominic." Simon said interrupting us.
"Chase, what's a pretty woman like yourself doing here all alone?" He asked.
"Well-"
"She's not alone, she here with her fiancè." Simon said.
"Oh, I didn't even notice the ring. My apologies." He said quickly walking away.
I looked at Simon and clinched my jaw.
"What?" He asked.
"Simon you've made it clear crystal clear that you wanted no part of what I was planning. So why...why are you acting possessive and jealous?" I asked frustrated.
"So you're just going to have an affair with everyone?" He whispered.
"That's none of your business." I said.
I wasn't going to sleep with Chase, a little flirting never hurt anyone. It wasn't his god damn business who I fucked and who I didn't. He didn't want to.
"You didn't answer my question." I said.
He looked at me and took a sip of his drink.
"You think I don't want to be inside you, feeling your thick thighs wrap around my god damn waist. You moaning my name? No matter how much I wash my sheets they still smell of you. You're everywhere, I despise it just as much as I despise the fact that I am jealous. Jealous that I can't get caught starring at you hungrily like these men...because darling I'm fucking famished." He whispered.
I felt my breath get caught in my throat, we locked eyes for what felt like eternity.
"Kivana."
I tore my eyes from Simon, coming back to reality before looking at Soleen.
"Hi Soleen, you look amazing." I said.
"You do too." She smiled.
I looked toward Simon to see him gone, I focused my attention on Soleen while he still clouded my mind.
"Where's Seokjin?" I asked.
"Somewhere talking to your brother, why didn't you tell me you were engaged to Byung-Yoon?" She asked.
"Honestly our conversation was so good I didn't think to mention it." I laughed.
She smiled and nodded before we continued talking. Her mouth was moving but I couldn't hear anything...the only thing that was going through my mind was Simon.
