"yes! Please don't stop!" I gasped out, Adam was behind me grunting, my hips in his death grip, pounding his way inside of me. I pull at the blanket beneath me as pleasure courses through my body from head to toe.

"Adam, we've been back together for only a few weeks now," I say, and he sniffles "Yeah I know, But I can't deal with you leaving this house every night and us both sleeping alone," he says frustrated.
I look up at him smirking "Who says I'm sleeping alone?" I joke, his arms tighten around me and he looks at me in fake anger "Nice try, I follow you home when you leave here and look in the window to make sure you fall asleep" he smirks at my shocked look "What the fuck? seriously D?" I ask and he nods "military baby." is all he says. I shake my head at him before we fall into a comfortable silence and start to drift off to sleep.
I groan and shuffle around the bed when I hear the sound of loud noises in the house. I throw the blankets off slide on the new pair of slippers Adam bought me and make my way downstairs. I look around the living room and kitchen and still can't find the source of the sound. I hear another sound of metal and continue walking through the house until I see Adam in the yard.
I push the sliding door open and step out onto the deck "Hey, what're you doing?" I call out to him. Adam looks over his shoulder at me and smiles before coming over "I've been building this for the past month" he points at the half-constructed play set. I look at him skeptically "Why a play set?" I ask. He shrugs "Well, Debbie and Liam," before pausing.
He smiles at me "And you know, maybe our kids" I give him a side-eye and he only smirks even wider "Nice try, we've got a little longer on that one" He nods before shrugging "yeah, definitely" he smirks again before kissing me and quickly getting back to building the playset. I stand on the deck a little longer admiring him as he works" I turn when I hear my phone ringing in the house and glance at Adam once more before heading in.
"Okay, I grabbed like five of them," I say, V called me scared and needed me to run to the store for her. She sits at her kitchen table, hands together and leaning her head against them, I take the bag and dump the boxes on the table. I rub her shoulder "Hey, it's gonna be okay you know Kev will always support you and whatever you choose to do" She sighs and looks up at me "I'm not ready to be pregnant Ro, I can barely handle Kev, how am I gonna handle both" she says.
"Sometimes babies happen when we need them not when we want them, it could be a sign" I try to encourage but see it's not working "or I could be blowing out of my ass, hell look at Monica she didn't deserve to have kids but she did because someone somewhere knew me, Fiona and the kids needed each other" She nods slightly and reaches forward for one of the boxes before standing and turning to me.
"here, I need emotional support and you are taking one with me," she says handing me a box, I scoff "V, I'm not even remotely pregnant" She tilts her head at me and I sigh "Fine, let's go" she smiles at me before grabbing my hand and pulling us upstairs to the bathroom.
"okay, we look on three" V says holding her stick covered in the ripped wrapper as mine is. I clench my hand around the test, "okay" I sigh, nerves filling my stomach and I can feel bile trying to fill my throat.
"One"
"two"
"three!"
We both pull the tests out of the wrapper and she sighs "thank god"
I look down at the test and my stomach drops and my head starts to feel fuzzy, she looks up at me "What does yours say?" she asks, I shake my head and fake a sigh "Negative" she smiles, knocking my shoulder "see, we have a little while longer to drink margaritas now" she laughs before leaving the bathroom.
I walk out after her slowly and place the wrapper in my bag "Alright I have to head out, Adam's making dinner tonight" She hugs me goodbye and I make my way home trying to calm my heart.
"Alright, I got dishes, why don't you go up and have a bath, and read that porn book you like so much" Adam grabs my plate and I chuckle "It's not a porn book, it just happens to have sex in it" I try to explain but all he does is smile and waves his hand "yeah yeah".
I finished getting undressed and l looked at myself in the mirror, I saw my bag lying on the floor outside the opened bathroom door. I walk over and grab it to place it on the counter. I take a deep breath before reaching in and grabbing the foil-wrapped test. I slide the used test out and sigh.
