Someone once said that we sometimes lose the moon while counting the stars meaning that we often look too close at the little things that we miss the bigger picture. But I think that sometimes the little things are what the bigger things big. I think the moon looks better surrounded by millions of constellations. And I believe the constellations are worth paying attention to because it's the little things we often don't forget. The small quirks, the times we learned something new about each other, the times we laughed so hard we almost died of suffocation, the times we rubbed our feet together in bed as we listened to each other breath. We remember the things we fall in love with slowly, like habits. The stars may not compare to the moon in size but they shine just as bright.
