"You have got to be kidding me."

I pulled my tired eyes away from the laptop screen in front of me just as an angry voice boomed from the kitchen doorway. I looked up to see my Dad and my brothers all looking up from their own screens and halting their conversations just as bella storms into the packed kitchen and turned her sharp glare onto Stefano. Oh shit.

"Bel-"

"No." She raised her hand, effectively cutting Stefano off. She then turned her stern expression towards her personal guard, Marcus? who's sitting in his seat rigidly, watching the tense interaction between the two before him.

"Everyone could you leave for a moment." Bella asks changing her tone to a sweet but condescending pitch.

The simple command was enough for all of us to instantly stand up and start making our way to exit the room.

"What's up with them?" I turned my gaze over to Rowan who was looking at them irritably. "She looks mad— i wanna know why she's mad." He groans.

"Should we intervene, you know get Bella out of here before she explodes?" Riley suggests looking slightly scared.

Enzo's smirking face looks over to them and then back to us "leave them, she'll be fine— not so much Stef though."

"Sweetheart?" Dad voices from behind us concerned at Bella's deadly glare.

A sharp inhale comes from the Bella.
"I will not repeat myself again." Her cold voice focused on Stefano as the tension grows thick in the air. "Everyone leave!"

We immediately all leave the room but cower behind the door attempting to eavesdrop as our interest got the better of us.

"Enzo move your ass." Dad shoves Enzo and Riley trying to lean against the door. "Fuck sake! I knew I shouldn't have got the soundproof doors."

"Just open it slightly!" Matt laughs quietly opening the door so it's slightly ajar. Always been the smart one.
