"𝐖𝐞 𝐡𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐠𝐨 𝐚𝐟𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩," Katara's urgent voice made Touka glance over from where she stood, watching Sokka load the canoe with supplies—a scene her younger sister had yet to notice. "Aang saved our tribe, now we have to save him."

Touka raised an eyebrow and locked eyes with Sokka, who shook his head slightly.

  "Katara, I—"

"Why can't you realize that he's on our side?" Katara exclaimed, her arms outstretched in frustration while her siblings watched, waiting for her to turn around. "If we don't help him, no one will. I know you don't like Aang, Sokka, but we owe him and—"

Touka stifled a small laugh as Sokka's eyebrow twitched in exasperation.

"Katara, are you going to talk all day or are you coming with us?" Sokka gestured to the canoe.

Touka grinned as Katara's face lit up. She ran towards them, throwing both arms around her and Sokka. Touka smiled and hugged her back before pulling away.

"Get in, we're going to save your boyfriend." Sokka smirked, knowing he struck a nerve when Touka nudged him.

Katara's face scrunched up. "He's not my—"

The white-haired girl rolled her eyes playfully before pushing Sokka towards the canoe. "C'mon, let's get going." She then froze when she heard her grandmother's voice behind her.

"What do you three think you're doing?" Their grandmother asked with a stern face, causing the siblings to smile sheepishly at her for a moment. They nearly fell over when she pulled a sleeping sack from behind her back, smiling at them. "You'll need these. You have a long journey ahead of you."

Touka's mouth dropped as she looked between her brother and sister before a soft smile appeared on her features.

"It's been so long since I've had hope, but you brought it back to life, my little waterbender." Their grandmother embraced Katara while Touka and Sokka watched with soft expressions.

Turning to Touka next, she embraced her oldest grandchild. "Be safe, my moon, and protect your siblings." Touka nodded and pulled away, smiling as her grandmother tucked a strand of her pale hair behind her ear.

"And you, my brave warrior," the woman finally turned to Sokka, "be nice to your sisters." Sokka patted her back with a fake annoyed expression. "Yeah, okay, Gran."

Touka stood between her siblings, listening to their grandmother who looked between the three of them.

"Aang is the Avatar. He's the world's only chance." She brought her hands together. "You three found him for a reason. Now your destinies are intertwined with his."
