you stare eye wide to the bright screen.
you'd just woken up, a ding in your phone catching your attention. slowly rolling over and pulling it to your face, blinking sleepily from half under your blankets. gasping and sitting up straight as you reread the message, a giddy smile creeping up onto your cheeks as your head hits your pillows again as you roll onto your stomach to text the cute boy back.
you pause yourself from double texting, shuffling back to sit cross legged with your hand over your mouth.
am i being too excited???
your brows slowly furrow, placing your phone face down and jumping out of bed to pace around your large room.
no surely not
the second you heard another ding you leap over onto your bed to read it, kicking your legs softly as you reply a heartbeat later.
suddenly your door bursts open, you scream in surprise and hug your phone to your chest. you relax but your face tenses in annoyance. "would it kill you to not creep up on me?"
akuma yawns and leans his hands above his head on your door frame, your head shakes as you hop off your bed to walk to your tank in your room. peering at your little moon jellyfish you kept, you could feel akuma moving in to stand next to you.
"skipping school? oh how rotten are you." he grins cheekily, your face deadpanning while slowly looking at his face from where he crouches to match your eye height. "wanna go for a bite?"
you thought about it for a second, a sudden ding coming from your phone on your bed catching both your attention. as much as you wanted to rush over you look back to akuma, his face awaiting an answer with a cheeky smile.
"i'll pay." he adds, you immediately agree while pushing him out your room.
"i'll be dressed in a bit." you usher, closing your door and actually locking it. puffing softly, you rush over to your bed and read the messages between you and todoroki.
