Lurytendra/El-Laura-El
My instinct and subject has never failed me since I became the ruler of this realm, Di Hipsodat.
One night when alone in my sleeping chamber, I heard a voice call to me. It was in desperation but I heard the courage in her tone. I knew she wasn't just ordinary. Gar-El confirmed she was my granddaughter, and she possessed unimaginable powers. She was strong, and I knew in that moment that she was the only one that can take me. Her body is the only thing that can contain my soul, but I needed to be sure.
With the help of Gar-El, I set the test to see if she was indeed capable to being my heir. I knew my body was dying. I knew I was dying and it was only a matter of time before I fade away and I was content with that. I had no intention of stealing the body of my granddaughter until I found out Azra was secretly meeting with her behind my back.
The backstabbing half soul of mine was bonding with someone else while I'm still alive. It could sense my body dying, it needed something to bond it, something alive and stronger. That made me angry and I sort another means to stay alive because the one thing I thought would carry my soul betrayed me. So I went after her. I plagued her dreams and made sure she got everything she wanted until it was time to come to me and she did. She played my game without even realizing it.
Now I have a new body and a new way to exist forever. The Golden Water is bonded to my soul in my former body but this new body would prevent it from happening. Whoever wants to brought back from the dead would pay the price themselves. I'm done being the nice El, not that I was ever nice.
Ever since I became El I lost a part of myself that I wasn't sure I had and up until now I still don't know what I'd lost. There's a gap in my memory that I cannot wait to fill, but I don't want to because it represents the vulnerable part of me.
I've led my soldiers to war and won, and these days things have been boring. The news of my victory and conquer had spread across the Galaxy and they know never to mess with me but a rumour about me dying have been circling. I was weak and couldn't fully access my powers but now with my new host body, I will raise again.
It's my first public appearance since I transferred my soul into my granddaughter's body and the experience hasn't been fun. The girl is tough and her will made it hard for my soul to take over. Gaea had to break her in all ways, starting with her mind.
Gaea was the first person to suggest moving my soul into another host body. I never knew it was possible until she told me and it was what I've been looking forward to since I heard about it.
The door to my throne opens, I step inside, and with each step I take, everyone goes down on their knees, bowing to their ruler. I climb the step to my throne and sit. I cross my leg and watch everyone on their knees including my son and his beloved. Damian rises and stand beside me as my executioner. This job would be hard for me because of the face I'm wearing but he's too useful to die. He's good at his job and I need him. Unless the useless emotions he learned on Earth affects his work, then I'll have to kill him.
I close my eyes briefly and something unexpected happens. A memory of my granddaughter appears in my head. I shouldn't be able to see this but I'm glad I did because the woman I've spent centuries looking made herself known to my granddaughter.
"I see you, Malakaia Stark. I see you and I'm coming for you."
