(94) A Shocking Move

Four Years Later,

Bucky and Reign were graduating under grad, while Ryan and Mallory were graduating from medical school at Baylor. 

James was beaming, "Our boys Win, our baby boys did it. I know you are so proud up there." He thought to himself.

Everyone gathered in a ballroom at the hotel everyone was staying at for the weekend. Helen and Marleigh rented it out so they could throw a graduation party. 

"Little J and Reign are sharing the BU cake, while Mallory and Ryan get their own special cakes for completing medical school." Helen said 

"Aww thanks nan." Ryan said 

Everyone got pictures, and ate cake as they mingled. Helen tapped her glass to get everyone's attention.

"It's time to see what these two couples have decided to do next." Helen said 

Ryan and Bucky both looked at each other as they were a little nervous to get announce their next move.

"Um, we have been discussing this for the past year. And um with a lot of therapy and marriage counseling for at least me and Mallory..um mine and Mallory's next move is to Atlanta Georgia..it's her childhood hometown it's where her paternal grandparents left her a house and it just felt right to make that move after we discussed it with my therapist and our marriage counselor..um yeah..Atlanta Georgia.." Ryan said 

Bucky looked at Reign, "So because we would like to stay close to Ryan and Mallory, me and Reign will both be moving to Atlanta Georgia as well, she loved it there when we went to Georgia for our joint bachelorette/bachelor weekend. Plus she has been accepted into the Emory University Law School, while I will be attending their medical school." Bucky said 

"I know that isn't what any of you want, and as much I would have loved getting to watch my kids play and grow up with all of yours. Phoenix just..it's home but.." Ryan said 

"It carries so much weight..and bad memories and good ones too but the death of their mother haunts them. Ryan has recently opened up in therapy and counseling about it so it's a decision we made together to accept our residency in Atlanta and start our next chapter there." Mallory said 

"So we hope no one is mad or hurt, but this is what is best for us. We fly in for holidays, birthdays and anything we need to fly in for." Reign said 

James looked down, he knew deep down the boys were trying to get away from the fact that in the last four years he married Blair, and she was now pregnant again with twins. It's what made Ryan go back to therapy. 

"We are proud of all four of you. And we know no matter where you go you four are going to do great things." Helen said 

"Your mother would be so proud of you two. I know I'm proud of my girl." Claire said 

"Thanks mom.." reign said 

Everyone hugged them as they congratulated them. James came over to their duplexes later and saw that they had started packing. 

"Boys, please tell me this isn't because I married Blair.." James said 

Ryan looked away, as Bucky looked down. 

"You two haven't changed a bit, you both are doing the same thing you use to do when you would be in trouble.  I didn't mean to hurt you two.." James said 

"Dad she was your mistress when mom was dying..and I got you stepping up and being the man you needed to be for Blakely..but marrying her mother." Bucky said 

"Dad the whole thing looks bad, Austin and Liam may not care what people think but we do and we don't like that people talk about you or your relationship with her cause it reflects on us..we are glad you are happy and all but we have to do this for us.." Ryan said 

"Ok boys.." James said then left.
