-chapter five- ♡
"I STILL, CANT GET OVER HOW BEAUTIFUL YOU LOOK." Tim spoke as he watched Layla stand in his mirror as she got ready.
She turned slightly smiling. "Thank you." She tightened her tie so it wasn't loose before adjusting her long sleeves. "I'm not really digging the long sleeves though."
He chuckled before he moved behind her. "You better get used to them now, they're apart of your uniform for the next year."
Layla sighed. "Good thing cop cars-"
Tim gave her a look at her usage of the word car. "Sorry shops, have AC."
Layla clapped her hands. "I almost forgot!"
She grabbed her cop hat placing it perfectly on her head. Before sighing. "This is not a flattering at all."
"What do you mean? You look beautiful." Layla smiled nudging him slightly. "You always say that."
"Because it's true." He spoke nudging her back before she wrapped her arms around his neck.
"Just don't smudge my lipstick okay?" Tim nodded before leaning down to kiss her before he was stopped by the hat she had on. He groaned softly rubbing his forehead. Layla giggled before she removed the hat from her head.
"Oh you poor thing." She mocked slightly.
"That actually hurt." He spoke squinting his eyes at her. Tim scoffed before he leaned down capturing her lips with his as she smiled into the kiss.
When she pulled away she leaned up on her tippy toes to place a kiss on his forehead. "It feels better now. But I might need another one to prevent any forms of swelling." Tim spoke cheekily. Layla rolled her eyes placing another kiss on his forehead before placing one to his lips.
"There you go." She placed her feet on the ground Tims arms still wrapped around her. "I have to fix my lipstick now." She paused before giggling. "You might want to as well." She pulled out of his arms to go touch herself up.
Tim smacked his lips at the stickiness. "Why is it so sticky?"
"It's the gloss Timmy."
He brought a finger to his lips as he applied it properly, smearing it around. "That's better." Tim sighed softly checking his watch.
