"OFFICER BRADFORD?" LAYLA LOOKED UP FROM HER PAPERS SHE WAS SHUFFLING THROUGH.

"Yes?" She called the same time as someone, well Tim, did.

She turned her head watching Tim who stood with his arms crossed.

"Thought you weren't changing your name?" Tim asked giving her an impressed look as he walked up towards her.

Layla shrugged. "Bradford sounds better." She let out a soft sigh.

"So for your information I'm officer Bradford and you're Sergeant Bradford. Besides baby Bradford sounds better than baby Hicks."

Tim smiled softly at her correction before he spoke nudging her slightly.

"Damn right, it does."

Layla sighed softly as she wrote down another name in the yes column.

"Smitty get your ass up and into gear." Angela spoke as she walked into the room.

Smitty got up quickly. "Yes ma'am."

Layla chuckled lightly shaking her head. "How's it going?"

Layla turned to look at her. "Well we wish there were more cops on the no column." She began. "But after comparing the list of Blair's patients to the list of potentially compromised police investigations Nell provided the maybe columns filling up."

Tim walked into the room sighing as he looked around. "You weren't kidding when you said out of the way. I think this is where they store all the old asbestos."

"What?" Layla and Aaron exclaimed at the same time giving him a look.

"It's fine. Just breathe shallow. Layla I would recommend you leaving every few minutes. Just for the baby's sake." Layla gave her an alarmed look.

"We needed a place no one would wander by."

"And you trusted Smitty to keep all this a secret?"

Angela turned to look at him. "We had a conversation about the consequences of loose lips."

"She threatened to hurt me in graphic detail." Smitty began to explain. "She used the term "gut dump." Relax, I won't say nothing about nothing. Layla told me you said I'm the man." Tim turned giving Layla a look to which she looked away from him amusement hidden in her expressionh.
