chapter 11 A look to the past

Here I bring you the new chapter. Since we know they used Elizabeth to create the Smiling Critters, why don't we take a little look at Y/N's past with Elizabeth to get to know her a bit better and see what she was like?

By the way, the image on the cover is Elizabeth's appearance, it goes without saying who that character is, you surely know her.

Well, without further ado, let's start the chapter.

In a large shopping center lots of people could be seen passing through an upper aisle, some alone and others accompanied by friends or loved ones. In the background a 6'3 young man could be seen wearing a brown jacket and a blue sweater underneath it as well as tight black pants. The young man was looking at a shelf with many magazines and comics that seemed to be about superheroes. The young man , who seemed to be no more than 18 years old, had a big smile on his face as he looked at the magazines and comics with great excitement.

This curious young man was none other than Y/N himself.

"Hmmmm, should I buy one of these?" Y/N whispered to himself. After all, he had doubts if he should buy one of the superhero comics despite the fact that he really liked stories about that topic. 'Yeah, I will, especially that one over there,' he thought as he looked at the magazine with the name X-Men written in yellow at the top of it. He was so focused on the comic that he didn't notice when a figure came to a stop next to him.

"Y/N!!" The figure shouted in a feminine voice, making Y/N almost jump in fright at the sudden scream, before Y/N turned to look at the figure. Said figure was a beautiful girl with long black hair that was in a ponytail and was dressed in a light purple sweater and cream-colored pants, both of them tight so that they showed off her incredible figure which would drive any man crazy. She was laughing out loud at Y/N's reaction with a large smile on her face.

"Hahahaha, oh Y/N, you don't know how much I love scaring you!" the girl said as she continued to laugh, wiping away a tear as she looked at him.

Y/N scowled at her and shook his head from side to side with disappointment. "The same thing again Elizabeth? When are you going to stop?" Y/N asked the girl, who was known as Elizabeth, with an annoyed tone.

She just shook her head and said "Never" with a mocking expression as she crossed her arms. In one of her hands was a small purple box, which caught Y/N's attention.

"Uh, what's that in your hand?" He asked her while pointing to the small box in Elizabeth's hand, very curious to know what she had found.

"Oh, you mean this?" She responded by lifting up the box so Y/N could see it all in detail. He saw a large purple stuffed cat with a crescent shaped pendant around its neck inside the box along with a wide toothless smile on its face, and his eyes widened with surprise upon recognizing the stuffed animal.

"Wait a minute, is that who I think it is???" he said as he looked from the cat to Elizabeth.

"Yes, it's a smiling Critter CatNap plush!" Elizabeth replied with a smile as she held out the box towards Y/N so he could take it and get a closer look.

"CatNap is a calming presence for the Critters and ensures that she and her friends always get enough sleep to start the morning fun! At the end of the day, there's nothing CatNap loves more than watching her friends sleep soundly," Y/N read on the back of the box.

"Wow" Y/N said in surprise, smelling the pleasant smell of lavender emanating from the box. Elizabeth let out a playful laugh upon seeing his action.

"Are you surprised Y/N?" Elizabeth asks with a teasing look.
