Quarterly Review on 50 Shades of OhmNanon

It was a typical Tuesday morning, and I was juggling my work report and my Wattpad story. My boss had been hounding me for the quarterly review, and I was determined to get it done. But my mind kept drifting back to the love scene I was writing.

I should have known better than to work on both at the same time, but I was confident I could handle it. Multitasking was my forte, after all. Or so I thought.

I finished my report, quickly scanned through it, and hit Send without a second thought. Feeling accomplished, I turned back to my fanfic, completely unaware of the disaster I had just set in motion.

A few hours later, I was called into my boss's office. Mr. Patel was a no-nonsense kind of guy, always focused on the task at hand. I walked in, confident and oblivious.

Mr. Patel: "Please, have a seat."

I sat down, smiling. "Did you get the report?"

Mr. Patel: "Oh, I got it all right. I have a few questions."

I nodded, eager to explain my stellar analysis. "Sure."

He looked at the report, then back at me, a puzzled expression on his face. "Can you explain this section here?"

He pointed to a paragraph that started with a detailed analysis of our sales metrics but somehow ended with, 'Ohm cupped Nanon's cheek, their breaths mingling as the tension between them crackled like electricity.'

My heart sank. I opened and closed my mouth a few times, unable to form words while looking at the report wide-eyed. "Um, th-that must be a mistake. Let me see."

Mr. Patel gave me a sarcastic smile. "I thought so too."

I tried to smile back, but it was actually a grimace. I was shivering inside.

He handed me the report, and I quickly scanned the rest. My face turned crimson as I saw more fanfic gems scattered throughout:

In one place I had written, 'The total deliverable for Q2 was impressive, with a 15% increase in productivity and Nanon's lips parted slightly, eyes widening as Ohm leaned in closer.'

Then after a few pointers was a section that said, 'Our tool's quality has improved dramatically, which also reflected in our performance. We have increased the temperature of the room and Ohm's trembling hands that grabbed on to Nanon were not helping.'

There was also, 'Strategies for next quarter include refining our ML model. The refining includes removing the t-shirt and getting on top of Nanon, pinning him down on the couch with a force to show dominance but the way Ohm looked conveyed his weak feelings.'

I gulped. "Uh, it seems there was a... mix-up. I must have accidentally pasted some... unrelated content."

Mr. Patel raised an eyebrow. "Unrelated content? This sounds like... a romance novel? 50 shades of..."

"C-c-confusion." I nervously laughed. "Y-you see, I was working on something... personal alongside the report, and I must have accidentally written something here which was not meant for this document."

Mr. Patel stared at me for a moment, then burst out laughing. "So, you're telling me our Q2 strategy involves ensuring the love between... who are they again? Ohm and Nanon?"

I sheepishly nodded. "Yes, they're characters from a... web series."

Still chuckling, he shook his head. "Well, this is a first. But let's focus on the actual report. Can you resend it, minus the shades of grey?"

I nodded vigorously. "I'll get right on it."

As I left his office, my colleagues looked at me curiously. Priya, who knew about my fanfic hobby, whispered, "What happened?"

I sighed. "I accidentally described 50 shades of OhmNanon's bedroom in the report to Mr. Patel."

Her eyes widened, then she burst into laughter. "Oh my God, that's epic!"

I rolled my eyes but couldn't help but laugh along. "Epic isn't exactly the word I'd use."

Back at my desk, I quickly corrected the report and sent it off again, double-checking every word. Then I turned back to my fanfic, making a mental note to keep my work and hobbies separate from now on.

Later, as I was leaving for the day, Mr. Patel called out, "By the way, interesting story. Maybe stick to data analytics for work, though. And not the analysis on... you know?"

I grinned. "Will do, sir. Will do."
