When I think about Code Geass , I always relate to Super Robot Wars , where I can see Zero aka Lelouch there at the first time , a guy who rebels , a guy who can lead , he is a strong guy with his own army to go against his home country , this series have some pilots that can use a unique power that is call a geass , each has posses his own , like forsighting enemy movements , increase the speed and attack , and also leadership power as well . Lelouch's name change to Zero when he started the war , that he vowed to fight to Brittannia , and also he won , but ended up disappeared at the end , mostly this anime had such a good popularity , it featured in many games like Super Robot Wars , Another Century Episode , what can we say , All hail Zero , he can lead everyone , especially at Super Robot Wars Z3.2 , the game give a set of special commands that can increase the teammates stats in a certain space fields , even though this game is a bit step down for this series that the attacks are a bit sloppy (if you want to look the best of Code Geass , go watch Super Robot Wars Z2.2. version of the attacks , they are way better than z3.2) . But I like the concept of chess there , it makes the battle look formal and awesome , makes Gundam Seed ashamed since its from the same production lol , even with Destiny released , probably Code Geass wins. Overall view , good anime to start with in the Super Robot genre , High ratings and cool battle scenes
