In the dimly lit chamber, the scent of jasmine and sandalwood filled the air as Nanon lit a candle before slowly walking toward Ohm, who was lying on the bed holding his head in visible distress. The moonlight seeped through the ornate windows, casting intricate shadows on the silk-clad bed. Ohm's rut had begun, and the primal urges were overwhelming. He was trying to calm himself. The entire chamber was filled with his pheromones, causing Nanon to feel strange and tingly.
"Ohm," Nanon whispered softly, his voice barely audible over the rhythmic sound of the crickets outside. He stepped closer, his slender frame illuminated by the soft glow of the lanterns. "I... I am here. I want to... help you."
Ohm looked up and gaped. He was sweating, and his eyes were red. Nanon gulped and braved a smile as he extended his hand, their eyes meeting.
"Nanon... go away. Why are you here?"
"You asked me the same question twice today." Nanon smiled weakly. "I should be wherever you are. Shouldn't I?"
Ohm shook his head and sat up on his bed. He turned to look at Nanon. "Nanon... I apologize for upsetting you earlier. But I can't even discuss it all right now. Please leave. I am controlling myself, and your presence is not helping."
"I can't leave you alone like this. Our differences are part of our relationship. We will work on it together. But right now, as your omega, shouldn't I be here with you?" Nanon asked.
"Why do you always keep asking so many questions that are so hard to answer and counter?" Ohm asked, annoyed. "Please, Nanon. I am begging you. I promised your mother to take care of you," Ohm argued weakly.
Nanon shook his head. "I realize that I ask many questions because I know that only you will answer them. I am not sure what you are hiding, but as long as you don't leave me, I will be by your side," Nanon said.
"What are you talking about? Who is leaving you?" Ohm asked. He wasn't in a state to argue. "I can't leave you ever," Ohm said, turning to Nanon. "But right now, if you won't leave, I am not sure..."
Nanon stepped even closer to the bed. "I am not sure if I can leave you right now either..."
Ohm's pheromones had caused Nanon to start releasing his own, making him feel drowsy and aroused simultaneously.
Ohm's eyes, dark with desire and worry, met Nanon's. "Nanon... we are not yet married. I don't want to hurt you," he said, his voice rough with restraint. He knew his alpha pheromones were potent, filling the room with an intoxicating musk that made Nanon's omega instincts flare.
Nanon knelt before Ohm, placing a gentle hand on his knee. "I trust you, Ohm," he said shyly, his cheeks flushing. "And we... we are promised to each other..."
Ohm's resolve wavered, his love for Nanon battling with his fear of losing control. But Nanon's presence, his scent, and his earnest gaze broke through his defenses. He nodded, allowing Nanon to guide him to the bed. Ohm held back his strength as he slowly pulled Nanon close, mindful of his delicate state.
The room was still, the gentle rustling of silk curtains the only sound as a soft breeze drifted through the open window. Moonlight spilled across the bed, illuminating the two figures entwined on the silk sheets.
Ohm's hand cupped Nanon's cheek, his touch gentle yet firm, fingers trembling slightly with restrained desire. Nanon's breath hitched as he felt the warmth of Ohm's skin against his own, their bodies pressed close in an embrace that spoke of unspoken feelings and deep-seated passion.
