Prompt 2: "It's too cold. Come back"
Everybody noticed since you joined the crew. Nami was a girls girl of course, but you'd have to be blind to not notice the difference with you. The subtle nudges, touches and whispers that you both shared, the sharing of clothes, supplies and most shocking, money.
After a long day one of you would always go seek the other out, it was clear to everyone.. well mostly everyone with more than half a brain, that you and Nami were harbouring small crushes on one another. The way you'd gaze at each other, hug a little too tight and long, hold hands, it went beyond friendship for you both.
Of course in the girls dorm, the three of you, you, Nami and Robin, shared a bed. However, Robin was a notoriously early riser, so often times you and Nami would have the bed to yourselves in the morning.
This night however, Robin was on watch, so the both of you had the bed to yourselves. The night went by in a flash once your head hit the pillow, and you had honestly felt like you'd never slept so well in your life.
Opening your eyes you noticed a hand draped over your stomach, and you could feel someone curled into a little ball behind you. Turning ever so gently you came face to face with the ginger navigator. She looked so peaceful. You admired her pretty features for a moment, until your stomach grumbled.
You cursed whatever mean god wanted to rip you away from this moment in favour of food. Gently you pushed some strands of her hair behind her ear. "I'm sorry" you whispered, taking her arm draped over you in your hands gently and placing it back down on the bed.
You moved slowly and carefully to sit up, and stand from the bed. You walked to the wardrobe to grab some clothes when you heard a moan and some shuffling. "What are you doing?" Nami asked, propping herself up on her elbow.
"Getting dressed.." you replied, a small smile on your lips at her tired state. She however stared at you with a serious look. She wasn't ready to get up yet, but she didn't want to be alone either.
"It's too cold. Come back" it wasn't a demand, nor did she whine about it. It just seemed she was voicing her inner thoughts aloud, and for her vulnerable statement, you'd grant her that wish.
You walked over to the edge of the bed. "But I'm hungry" you teased. She pulled the blanket up, wrapping you in it, and tangling her legs with yours.
"And I'm cold" she repeated, finding your hands and intertwining them under the blanket. "So let's compromise, stay here a little longer and I'll suggest to Sanji to cook your favourite tonight".
You smiled at Nami's compromise. You'd have cuddled under the blanket with her for free, but how could you turn this offer down. "You drive a hard bargain.." you sarcastically poked fun at her, despite loving the needier side of her. "But I suppose you have a deal".
And so you and her spent a little longer in bed that morning. Even when you could hear the whole crew up and about, you didn't dare move.
