Vijay's pov :

As soon as I reached his bed, I smirked a bit looking at his miserable condition. Only if he didn't cross paths with her, he would've been okay. Now, I knew why she has so much hatred towards this pathetic bastard.

He opened his eyes slightly and was shocked to see me.

"What are you doing here?"

"What am I doing here? What do you think?", I asked.

"Y-You..", he was speechless.

"If that brat sent you here, just go back. I have powerful people behind me. Guna will take me out of the prison soon.", he used his useless threat which made me chuckle. Is he serious right now?

"You know that your boss is jailed, right?"

"Yes, but he still holds power."

"Now, tell me. Is he more powerful than me? Do you think so? If he is powerful, then he should've come out of the prison, don't you think so?"

"H-He is powerful.", he kept chanting the same words.

"I won't waste my time talking to a piece of shit like you. Now, choose. Either you go to the Moonwing asylum or you beg in streets.", I gave him my choice. His eyes widened. He knew I was capable.

"D-Did that bitch tell you do this?", panic laced in his voice. I clenched my teeth hearing the word bitch. How dare he talk like that to my woman!

I took the knife from the apple casually and put on my gloves.

"What are you going to do?", he was scared.

"The tongue which you used to curse my wife won't exist anymore.", I said adjusting my gloves.

"N-No. I'm sorry. I will respect your wife from now on. She is my brother's daughter which means she is like my daughter too. Don't you think she will be upset if she comes to know this?"

I want him to choose fast so that I could cut it off. Moonwing asylum is an illegal asylum run by Guna which is completely handled by Rajesh. The patients are treated worse than animals where they are used for illegal medical testing. They are not given proper food and water. We rescued everyone in there and sent them safely to another medical institution and the asylum is still running without any issues. I assume that there's some more big shot involved in this and I had to find them before shutting it down.

"She wouldn't know.. Even if you die now, it will just be a suicide in the eyes of others.", I smirked.

"No, you cannot do this to me. Please, let me go. Why are you doing this to me? It was Guna who asked me to do this."

"I would've been okay if that was your only mistake. I think we should settle scores for what happened when Diya was 15. You still remember that night? She was traumatized. You traumatized her."

"N-No. That was a mistake. I was drunk and I thought— I was not in my control. Please let me go."

"Mistakes need punishment and you're going to suffer because of that mistake forever. I should've killed you but life is more challenging and painful than death. I will make you taste your own death— in a legal way. Because, you see.. I'm a police and I'm a good person. I'm a very honest officer and that's why I'm going to give the sentence of your death by yourself.", I said with a sinister chuckle.

I pulled out his tongue despite his effort and cut half of his tongue leaving the remaining.
