A claw was released from the ship, zipping through space before it grabbed a specific one and pulled it toward the ship. Inside, the block of ice was hoisted up with a silhouette shining through it. Kevin, the new captain of the cruiser dropped down into the room and made his way toward it

"Wherever I went in the galaxy, no matter whose butt I kicked, one name kept coming up over and over..." Kevin placed his Pyronite arm on the frozen material and melted some of it away to see the face of the person inside "Vilgax"
The prisoners that were once nearby, quickly scurried away when they heard the name. William closed the door to the company fridge with a frown. No food, no friends around, and nothing to do that he didn't already find boring. Popping open a can of soda he had taken out, he sighed and looked out the window the Sumdac Industries window that overlooked the futuristic Motorcity
"You'd think after seeing that your son had multiple near-death experiences that he'd stick around more, but noooo" He complained, taking a sip of the drink "Man, I wish the Autobots didn't leave. I could be hanging out with Arcee or Optimus right now"
Walking out of the employee room, he made his way toward his own. His robot dog. Running through his legs as he walked by his unactivated robotic tutor. When the automatic door opened to his room, he flopped himself on his bed immediately and sighed. The Autobots were following a distress signal, and he couldn't come along, why?
"Because I'm a kid! Can you believe them Volt?!" He vented to his dog that was now laying on the bed "Obviously I can be useful, I've been teaching them how the world works and how to keep from being spotted. How come I can go on a super secret alien mission?"
He groaned grabbing his head in frustration, his dad was holed up in his lab per usual which wasn't helping with his sour mood "Is it too much to ask to be noticed for once? I can be useful too" His thoughts drifted to when he used to run with Kevin and Emeri. At least they made him feel like he was doing something

William jumped at the voice. Sitting up to see Emeri on the opposite side of the room with his arms folded. His eyes were green with spectral power, trained on one of his enemies that were completely at his mercy. No Omnitrix-wearing idiots, no giant robots, no protection to keep him safe "Good to see you again, Sumdac"
