"That's the thing, Jimin. That's the damn thing," Jungkook retorted.
"It's her disability that stops me from lov..." His voice grew louder, trailing off at the end.
Jimin's eyes widened at Jungkook's slip, and Anya's breath caught in her throat.

Jungkook's heart clenched at Jimin's words, a pang of guilt stabbing him.
He hadn't meant to hurt her, truly.
He had just been so angry and frustrated with her, with her inability to stand up for herself, that in the heat of the moment, he had said something he shouldn't or maybe..... he didn't mean.
