I don't own any of primeval, it's plot or characters unfortunately. However, Katherina and her family are mine. All credit and rights go to impossible pictures.

Katherina's outfit to the side.

Katherina's POV:

"Where are you?" Lester's voice came down Danny's phone as Danny left it on loud speaker for the two of us to hear. "You're late. I wouldn't usually bring myself to care but so is Katherina, she's seeing her father and brother off at the airport."

"Sorry sir," Danny spoke down the phone as we both scanned the scene in front of us. "Stuck in traffic."

"Oh really." James spoke dryly.

"So, what can I do you for?" Danny took the binoculars off me so he could also get a closer look at Christine's HQ.

"I'm meeting the minister this afternoon."

"It might be too late." Danny spoke quietly from our place in the bushes, both of us wearing grey catsuits. Something about it helping us blend in with security. It looks more natural for us to have tactical belts on with these suits. Personally, I would just like some breathing room for my boobs.

"Johnson is military, we cannot just storm in there without any sort of-"

Danny cut Lester off as we saw Johnson, Wilder and the mystery woman from the other side of the anomaly, waking into the front doors of her HQ.

"Yes sir, I'm very well aware of that."

Danny and I shared a look.

"All based on the haunch that she's got some hidden anomaly and a woman from the future tucked away somewhere."

Not long after they went into the building, a security truck pulled up outside, not far from us. There was plenty of space to hide underneath and I would bet that Wilder's soldiers would be taking advantage of slacking off with him not staring down their backs. Danny and I shared another look, he understanding this was our chance.

"Okay sir, you're the boss."

"You're in a very understanding mood today, Quinn."

"The lights have changed!" Danny faked an urgent tone into his voice. "I've gotta run!"

"Quinn-"

"Sorry sir, you're breaking up!"

"Don't do anything I'll regret." Lester's voice came over the phone as Danny put it down.

We checked to make sure nobody was watching, before clicking on our inner ninja modes and creeping to the van. We had just managed to situate ourselves under it and out of sight when it took off, inside the grounds again.

Since my childhood school was recently revealed it's clear why I know how to infiltrate a high-security military HQ. I'm guessing Quinn was deep into the police since he's doing pretty well too.

The truck stopped in a little corridor between two buildings. The driver got out to switch with someone else. As soon as the truck stopped, Danny and I dropped to the ground and lay still and silent, waiting for the truck to take off again. When it did, we were lucky that the guards in the guardhouse were busy as we could simply creep to the side door of the building. We entered the building, acting as natural as possible.

Remember that deceptive experience I mentioned when pretending to be an angel? It may or may not have come from Springfield.

Danny walked slightly in front of me, seeming like he was showing me the ropes and pointing into rooms to show them to me. We had agreed to play the roles of mentor and trainee. We only had to walk for around 2 minutes, before passing the room where Christine stood interrogating the brown-haired woman.
