"I'm Supergirl," Kara announced. She turned midair as she saw a portal of yellow energy swirling in the air in a circular motion. She turned back to Spider Man, but by the expression he was making from behind his mask, this portal was not his doing. Nor did he know how to react to it.

Deciding that she needed answers, she flew into the portal as it closed behind her. She stepped down, glancing up at the large staircase in the center of the room.

Before Peter could object, the portal was gone, like it was never there to begin with. His alarm beeped in his ears. He set it so that he wouldn't be late for dinner, again. So, he swung back to his apartment building, landing in the alleyway.

Dressed in the clothes he had worn to school, Peter Parker made his way to his front door and opened it. The smell of burnt food wafted in the air as he saw his Aunt May swatting the smoke away.

Before long, she noticed his arrival, leaving the stove and greeted him with a kiss on his forehead. "How was the internship?" He smiled at her question.

"It was good, uh, so dinner?" He swiftly approached the stove, taking the lid off of the pot.

"I got so distracted by my show, how does Chinese sound?" She asked as she began searching the couch for her phone. He made quick work of disposing of the evidence of the ruined dinner.

"Sounds good, I'll uh, be in my room, got lots of homework." He slid across the room, opening his door and walked in. He slowly closed the door, peering out at his Aunt sitting on the couch, scrolling on her phone. He smiled at the sight. He sat down on his bed, sliding out his suit from his bag.

Peter put his mask on.

"You have a message from Mr. Stark," KAREN informed him.

"Go ahead and play it."

The recording began to play in his ears. "So you saved this girl only to find out she knows how to fly?" KAREN impressed Peter every time. The message though sent as written text was voiced in Mr. Stark's voice. He thought of everything.

"Reply, yeah and this portal opened up and she just flew into it! You don't see that everyday. Can I come by later?"

There was no response. KAREN didn't even say anything. So, he discarded his mask and decided to stay truthful and get to work on his homework.

Aunt May knew the truth. That he's Spider Man. She still called it the internship for the simple fact that it was easier on her. They made a compromise that Spider Man wouldn't stop him from his school work.

His phone went off with the ringtone he had set for Tony Stark. I Am Iron Man. He chuckled to himself at the irony and answered right away.

"Why do you need to come by later?" Tony Stark asked with a sarcastic quip.

"I don't know, I just thought it'd be worth a shot."

"Kid, you already turned down being an Avenger, the last place you should be is at the compound."

"I know, I just, it was weird what happened and I thought we could talk about it, face to face."

"You're right, which is why I'm outside your door." This response got Peter off of his chair and flinging his door open to spot Tony Stark once again on his couch, sitting next to his Aunt May. The teen hung up the phone.

"Well, good bye to you too, Peter," Tony teased as he placed his phone back in the pocket of his jacket. "I was just telling your Aunt here that I'd be happy to stay for what was it again?"

"Chinese," Aunt May said with a chuckle.

"In fact, it'll be my treat," Tony responded, a smirk plastered in his face.
