Varun started chatting with Prisha outside the office, and they would often exchange messages about everything from coding to their personal lives. One day, he decided to take the next step and asked her if she'd like to grab coffee with him. To his delight, she agreed.

"I'll pick you up at 2 pm on Sunday," he said, trying to sound casual.

"Okay, sounds good," she replied.

Varun arrived at her doorstep, feeling a mix of excitement and nervousness. Prisha opened the door, but instead of inviting him in, she quickly retreated inside.

"Just a minute, I need to get ready," she said, leaving him standing alone in the hallway.

Varun's eyes wandered to the room behind her, and his jaw dropped. Her room was a coding paradise - screens, wires, and gadgets everywhere. It looked like a gamer's lair, and he felt a shiver run down his spine.

What was Prisha involved in? He couldn't help but wonder.

As he waited, he heard the sound of keyboards clacking and muttered curses coming from inside. It seemed Prisha was working on something intense.

Suddenly, the door closed, and Varun was left standing in the darkness, his curiosity piqued.

As Varun waited, he thought about asking Prisha about her impressive coding setup, but his train of thought was derailed when she emerged from her room. He was struck by her beauty, and his heart skipped a beat.

Prisha was wearing an elegant black skirt that fell just above her knees, paired with a crisp white blouse that accentuated her slender neck. Her dark hair cascaded down her back in soft waves, and her subtle makeup highlighted her striking features. Her eyes sparkled like diamonds as she smiled, and Varun was lost.

For a moment, he forgot to breathe. He felt like he was drowning in the depths of her eyes, and he knew he was in trouble. He was falling deeply in love with her, and he couldn't hide it anymore.

As he gazed at her, Varun thought to himself, "It's time to tell her how I feel." But his courage faltered, and he stopped himself. What if she didn't feel the same way? What if it ruined their friendship?

Prisha seemed oblivious to Varun's inner turmoil as she grabbed her bag and said, "Ready to go?" Her voice was like music to his ears, and he couldn't help but smile.

"Y-yes, let's go," Varun stuttered, trying to play it cool.

As they walked out of her apartment, Varun couldn't help but steal glances at Prisha, his heart racing with excitement and nervousness. He knew he had to tell her how he felt, but the fear of rejection held him back.

Prisha, oblivious to Varun's internal turmoil, led the way down the stairs, her black skirt swishing with each step. Varun followed closely behind, his eyes fixed on her slender neck and the soft waves of her dark hair.

They reached the bottom of the stairs, and Prisha turned to him with a smile. "Shall we?" she asked, gesturing towards the door.

Varun nodded, his heart racing with anticipation. "Yes, let's go," he said, his voice barely above a whisper.

Together, they pushed open the door and stepped out into the bright sunlight, their fate hanging precariously in the balance.

See you in the next chapter... where the path ahead becomes treacherous.
