"A freaking marriage?" Hannah's eyes widened in disbelief.
I nodded, taking a deep breath. "My parents and Christian's grandma decided to set us up."
Sarah's concerned gaze met mine. "You're not joking, right?"
I shook my head, explaining the situation. Internally, I was ecstatic, but a part of me trembled at the thought of Christian's potential rejection.
"Are you okay?" Amelia asked, noticing my unease.
"I'm nervous," I admitted. "What if he doesn't agree?"
Hannah chimed in, "Men aren't that hard to figure out. Just seduce him, and he'll be hooked in no time!"
We exchanged skeptical glances. Amelia reassured me, "Don't worry, your parents said they'll give you time. If it doesn't work out, you can always leave."
The conversation shifted to our upcoming party plans.
"I have to attend the S&D fashion debut success party today," Amelia said.
"Me too!" Sarah exclaimed. "Sebastian invited me."
"I'm going as well," I added, my cheeks flushing. "I, uh, stole the invitation from Christian."
