The sun got through the curtains, as you and Taehyung joined the family for breakfast. All of you say happy birthday to your mom in her blessed day. Zhang and your father made most of the breakfast. You all decided to give your mom her gifts during her birthday dinner.
Lee household opened with the smell of fresh brewing jasmine tea .On the table were loaded a variety of Chinese delicacies, from steamed buns,pancakes, eggs, chinese pastries to congee.Everyone gathered around the table, Shelby still looked a little sleepy as they all greeted your parents cheerfully.She and Zhang sat up late.
Ming-Mei was helping herself to pancakes filled with fresh berries and whip cream at one end of the table while everyone else feasted on an array of Chinese dishes. The morning was full of noise and laughter; it was a warm atmosphere that felt cozy.
You and Taehyung had come out feeling refreshed and merry looking. With deep affection in your eyes you turned toward soulmate who was very cheerful and comfortable with your parents. He gave Zhang a fistbump (their secret signals again). You and Shelby took one look at them both then raised an eyebrow. Zhang and Taehyung bonded quickly.
"So, Taehyung, how did you sleep last night? No problems with mosquitoes, I hope?" Your mom asked with a warm smile, her eyes twinkling with curiosity.
“Yeah,” your dad interrupted.” You know what happens when people live near lakes?” he continued.
Taehyung shared a knowing look with Yunru,“Not even one,” his attempt not to laugh make you smirk more, “I slept so good last night...it’s very quiet here,I could even hear myself think.”
Your parents laughed joyously knowing that their home is loved by this superstar who enjoyed their company too.
Your dad then spoke up saying, “We’ll be heading to the restaurant earlier because your maternal family will be arriving from the airport and they will meet us at the dinner---but they will sleep over after the dinner party."
“Great, well, we did sit on the porch until midnight talking and relaxing,” Zhang chimed in with a mischievous look. “It’s a mystery why they look so refresh and joyful this morning. Yun and Taehyung went to bed quite late.”
You and Taehyung exchanged knowing glances; your cheeks were slightly flushed in memory of the hour you've had spent together in his cozy room. They made sure they were highly energized because they may not see each other today as everybody wants to have your soulmate for a while. You left his room after 1pm.
Your dad and Zhang already booked him to spent time with them. Shelby noticed the slight shift in your shirt, revealing a faint hickey on your shoulder but she just smiled to herself thinking that no one else notice.Seems like the two young soulmates were very busy last night
