Just as they were about to leave, the emperor raised his hand, commanding attention. "Wait," he said, stopping everyone in their tracks.

All eyes turned to him, curiosity piqued. "Pari, this isn't fair to you. Therefore, I have decided to offer you another marriage opportunity," he announced.

A stunned silence filled the room, especially Reyan, who was taken aback. Although he didn't harbor feelings for Pari, it unsettled him deeply at the thought of her being with someone else. She was his original fiancée, and the idea that someone else could love her was intolerable.

The emperor continued, "I have other sons as well. This time, I will not impose an engagement but rather grant you a chance to develop a relationship with one of them."

He called over one of his servants and whispered something in his ear.

Meanwhile, whispers filled the air. How could Pari be this lucky? Her engagement had just ended, and now she had the opportunity to choose a prince! Niya felt a surge of jealousy wash over her. She had worked so hard to gain Prince Reyan's affection, and now Pari was presented with yet another chance, this time with a different prince. How unfair! she thought, fuming inwardly.

After a short while, two princes entered the chamber, both extraordinarily handsome—each more striking than Reyan. The emperor announced, "You may choose either of them."

Pari studied both princes as they stood before her. One was named Ritik, and the other was Aryan.

The emperor encouraged her, "You can choose any son of mine."

Pari felt a pang of anxiety. Why is he pushing me into marriage? I'm only 15. I don't want to marry anyone just yet. Still, she knew she couldn't openly defy his wishes. After contemplating, she finally said, "Your Highness, are you certain I can choose any of your sons?"

The emperor nodded, "Yes, this king has given his word."

Just then, an unexpected voice spoke up. "Then I choose Prince Veer."

An eerie silence enveloped the chamber. The other ministers exchanged glances, eyebrows raised, unsure of what to make of her choice. The emperor's jaw dropped in disbelief.

After a moment, he managed to regain his composure. "Pari, you can choose between the two princes before you."

His hesitation was due to the well-known reputation of Prince Veer—a man notorious for his coldness and lack of emotions. He was not only powerful but also feared, as he often showed no qualms about using his strength. The emperor had hoped Pari would not consider him, as he didn't believe in love or marriage.

However, Pari, aware of Veer's fearsome reputation, stood her ground. "Your Highness, I want him only. Are you going back on your word?"

Her resolve surprised everyone. She knew well that Veer was known for being heartless and indifferent to romance, and perhaps that was exactly why she chose him. If he's as cold as everyone says, then he'll reject me, and I can escape the bonds of marriage!

The atmosphere in the room shifted as everyone waited for the emperor's reaction. Would he allow Pari to make a choice so unconventional and risky?
