It was the end of the school day as Asami was waiting in front of the school gates as she waited for Riku. The two of them had promised to meet up here when they were at the track field. Though Riku was taking a bit long to arrive.

"Asa, I'll be going home now. Sorry that I wasn't able to accompany you today."
She hears Rin call out as Asami looks over to see the lad walking over towards her.
"Don't worry about it. Riku was nice enough to accompany me when he heard that you weren't able to." She replies.

The smile on Rin's face slowly disappearing as it turned into a straight line.
"Ah, is that so. Make sure that the two of you arrive there safely." He quickly puts on a fake smile before ruffling her hair.
Asami smiles at him.

"You make sure to enjoy your time at your family gathering." She says as he lets out a small laugh.
"I'd doubt that I'd enjoy the family gathering but I'll try to. See you tomorrow Asami." Rin bids his goodbye once his driver had arrived.
"Bye Rin!" She waves as him as he enters the car.

"Hey sorry for arriving late. One of my stupid classmates hid my pencil case and I was trying to find it." Riku exclaims once he had reached the school gates.
"No worries. I wasn't waiting for that long." She replies as the two of them then started to walk off.

The two of them decided to walk to the bookstore since it wasn't really that far. Probably just a fifteen minute walk there.

"Why is the town so busy all of a sudden. There's usually not this much people out." Riku complains when the two of them were being surrounded.
"It's nearly the holidays Riku. They're probably all out to get presents or because of the holiday sales that's currently on right now." Asami replies.

"Well by any chance, with this much people we might get separated in the crowds." He says when the crowds only multiplied.

He looks back at Asami, seeing her looking down as she had a sad pout on her face.
He lets out a groan thinking of what he was planning to do next.

"Don't give me that freaking look. If you wanted to hold my hand then you could've just said so." He said furiously as he took a hold of her hands as she looks up at him. A small blush quickly making its way on her face.

He immediately looks away. Not wanting her to know that he was blushing as well.
"Don't let go of my hands, or else you'd get separated away from me." He says bashfully.
"Ok.." She replies as she tries to keep in her smile.

"I'm so glad that there was a discount today, my money was saved." Asami cheers as she hugs the plastic bag filled with her mangas.
"That was so terrifying. Having to be crushed between the people who was going to war inside that bookstore. I'm never going to the bookstore ever again with you." Riku says as he remembers just how crazy it was inside the bookstore, seeing people fight over a freaking book because it was on discount. And him being crushed down. He was traumatised.

He could hear Asami laughing beside him.
"Weakling." She mutters as it made him frown.

"Oh by the way Riku." She says as he looks over at her. He sees her taking her phone out of her pockets as she held it towards him.
"Can I get your number."

"H-huh??" He says startled.
"Since we're friends, shouldn't we have each other's numbers? Plus it'll be a lot easier to communicate with each other if one of us is absent in class." She reasons as he took her phone before inputting his number.
"There." Riku giving her phone back as she smiles widely.
