Cecelia's pov
— Summer of 2013 —After my miscarriage and the loss of my client's baby, I decided I needed to go on a vacation with my family, so we booked a trip to Florida and decided to take my husband's side of the family and my uncle Tim with us. My uncle suffers from Agoraphobia and depression and I thought it would be nice to help him get some fresh air and try to help him get over his fears after a few weeks. We started packing our suitcases, and then we started driving there. It was a very long and miserable drive. Considering it was from Virginia to Florida. The songs in the car made it worth it though. "Just A Girl" and "Strawberry wine" on the list could go on. I think the girls got tired of my singing. But the part that actually made it worth it was when we finally got to the hotel even though it was nighttime by the time we got there, it was so refreshing to finally get out of the car. I laid down on the made-up bed and got some rest the next morning we all woke up early to look at the sunrise and go to the beach after a while my sister and my niece bonded a little with my husband's side of the family.
Beth's pov
— Summer of 2013 —When I was at the beach, I remember feeling warm and seeing the colors of the sunrise. thinking about my mother. Her favorite color was purple and mine is pink, even though it had been a while since she passed. I still missed her. All I wanted was my mommy.
Lydia's pov
— Summer of 2013 —After a few hours at the beach, we all got really bored. Cecelia had a habit of overdoing things. It wasn't anything serious to hate about her, it was just a minor flaw. I noticed that Tim was by himself, so I decided to walk up to him and start a conversation. "Really pretty right?" after I said that, he looked over at me anxiously "Oh yeah!" he said, trembling and not making eye contact. I could tell he was overwhelmed by the surrounding setting. After a little while, we started talking about our favorite animals he told me he has a dog named Hershey that was basically his best friend he also told me he has a brother named Rick. He's also his best friend.
Kaylie's pov
— Summer of 2013 —My uncle's brother, Glenn, is trying to teach me how to fish but I think fish are gross, and I hate the beach, but even though I hate both of those things, I decided I would try for him because I wanna take an interest in other people's hobbies. I wasn't able to catch any, but I think he was still happy that I tried for him. He also gave me a high five.
