"I'm sorry, what?" Comet hissed, looking between the two assassins.
Horrible as they may be.
"Yep!" Crow grinned smugly. Not in a cute way. In a horribly insufferable way.
"Are you SERIOUS?!?!" Comet yelled. "THAT UGLY, STUPID, RAT OF A DRAGON?"
"Peril's dad?" Redwood added. "We know alllllll about him. He was also a SkyWing named Soar."
"Yeah, and an IceWing named Cirrus." Everest agreed.
"And a NightWing named Shapeshifter" Whisper nodded.
"And a MudWing named Bog." Bristle, surprisingly, included. Crow smacked him.
"Owwwwwwww" He whined.
"Who are we talking about?" Waves interjected, seeming genuinely confused.
"Some dumb RainWing who couldn't change his scales." Whisper said knowingly.
"He, like, put Kinkajou in a coma." Redwood jumped up. "And he had this magic scroll that turned out to be Darkstalker's magic talisman, like whaaaaaaat?"
Crow growled. "He's not dumb" he defended his, um, mentor. "He had a very valid reason to be angry."
"What? Some colourful RainWings made fun of him?" Everest mocked sarcastically.
"That's a very valid reason." Bristle repeated. "Very valid. Super mega valid"
"ARGHHHH STOP MAKING ME LIKE YOU" Comet barked.
"You like me?" Bristle winked. Comet rolled her eyes.
"Ew not like that. And not anymore."
At that moment, Sunny walked by the cave to see five dragonets surrounding two other dragonets in a web.
"Do I want to know-?"
"No"
"Ok."
They all watched her leave.
"That confirms it." Redwood observed. "Sunny is definitely my favourite teacher.
"So what are we going to do about the..." Waves gestured at the two dragonets suspended in a web.
"If we let you go, do you promise to not hurt any of us again?" Comet arched her eye ridge.
"Yes, we promise!" Bristle nodded excessively.
"Yea we promise." Crow muttered.
The RainWing/NightWing hybrid nodded at Everest, who used her serrated claws to cut the web of vines. The two wannabe assassins thumped to the ground.
"Next time, don't try to assassinate someone whose dad is the greatest assassin in Pyrrhia."
