CH 57 - THE COLDNESS WHEN WE MEET AGAIN

Phuwin sat and looked at his watch. He was at a small restaurant used to meet partners, which was also the place that Joong had just given him. Today as promised, Joong will bring Pond here to meet you. The feeling of nervously counting the seconds that passed made Phuwin nervous. Because he was so impatient to meet him, he arrived thirty minutes early.

This afternoon, after the press conference and returning to run the company, Pond sat back in the chairman's chair and closed his eyes to rest. Joong slowly walked to the side, knowing that Pond had just recovered from an accident and his health was rapidly deteriorating, so he did not bother. The sound of a text message on Joong's phone rang, it was from Phuwin, he said he had arrived. Joong looked at his watch, his disapproving eyes judging him

"There's still thirty minutes left, why the hell are you here so early?"

Joong whispered, he looked at Pond who was resting just to be quiet, after all there were still thirty minutes left. Joong sat at the reception desk, waited about ten minutes, then Pond showed signs of waking up, Joong poured him a glass of water and talked.

"Follow me later, someone wants to see you."

"Who is that?"

"Phuwin"

"Who is it?"

Joong didn't say anything anymore. Knowing he would ask that, he just turned back with his jacket resting on the chair.

"Let's go, he holds evidence of Phuwanat's crime"

Joong raised his voice, only when he heard this did Pond show a little interest. Where had he heard this name Phuwin before? It was both familiar and strange. Pond followed Joong to a restaurant not far from the company, filled with thoughts of who this person was and who had Phuwanat's evidence.

Phuwin sat in the room waiting for a while. The moment the door opened, he immediately caught his eye. Pond in real life finally appeared in front of him. His demeanor looked so mature, it overwhelmed Phuwin for a while.

Pond sat down on the chair opposite him, he politely greeted Phuwin but his tone was too strange, this further proved to him that he really had forgotten.

"Hello, I'm Phuwin"

"Um. I'm Pond Naravit"

Phuwin's eyes filled with longing and now a little more watery. He was moved to see him, the corners of his lips trembled slightly and he spoke a few hesitant words.

"You...you really don't miss me?"

Phuwin questioned, looking at him expectantly, waiting for a ray of hope, but in response he only got coldness from him.

"I just met you for the first time, what's there to remember?"

Pond's bluntness made Phuwin's heart tighten. Saying love is love, saying not familiar is not familiar, Phuwin now just wants to rush to hit him.

"Hey, don't tell me you dare forget that I and you are lovers."

Phuwin was really upset, looking at his attitude now, it was so different, completely different from the Pond he knew. If that face wasn't exactly his, Phuwin would have left long ago.
