CH 107 - HAPPINESS COMES

Time passed, gradually bringing each person back to stability with their own lives. JoongDunk had their own happy lives, although he rarely returned to Pond's main villa, he still kept track of every move there. As for Pond, after becoming Phuwin's lover, An Linh was his second home, the time he spent at An Linh was now even more than the time he spent at the main house. Besides work, Pond seemed to have become An Linh's employee, helping him with everything. Gemini had asked permission to bring Fourth to his house a long time ago, Pond went to An Linh, in return Fourth went to Gemini's house. Since then, Fourth and Heart had a new life, being pampered more by Gemini, and also being taken care of more carefully, this gradually loosened Phuwin's guard, he also felt secure in entrusting Fourth to Gemini, on the contrary, he had to face a clingy lover.

Aydin base was more tense today than usual, because Joong and some of his close brothers were standing in the meeting room, all looking at Dew, Aydin's best subordinate at the moment. Dew had been missing a lot recently, especially since Joong married Dunk, which made Joong have to ask for the reason, but he didn't expect that Dew wanted to hold a meeting today, after clearly announcing the purpose, it surprised everyone even more.

"You want to leave the world?"

Joong raised his voice, the whole room fell into silence as soon as Dew asked Joong's permission to wash his hands of the sword, he wanted to leave the organization, because he had found love, and his lover did not want him to get involved in dangerous jobs like this.

"Yes, please understand me and everyone."

Dew spoke softly, his sincere plea hitting Joong's heart, he knew who Dew loved, his younger brother Pond Naravit's assistant, named Nani, someone Joong had the chance to work with. Perhaps Nani didn't know Dew worked in the underground world, that was also the reason Dew asked to leave before Nani found out.

"What do you plan to do after leaving the organization?"

"Open a coffee shop"

Joong just nodded after hearing that, he let out a light breath.

After Joong's words, Dew bowed his head respectfully as if to thank Joong as well as the organization that he had been attached to for so many years. Dew took off his shirt, returned the gun that the organization had given him, it had been with him since the beginning but now he had to say goodbye. Handshakes, hugs, and finally Dew turned to leave, before closing the door of the meeting room, he turned around once more, bowed to everyone. Joong smiled, showing his greeting to his right-hand man. The meeting ended, everyone gradually left...

Since Dew left the organization, Joong has been busier because he doesn't trust anyone like Dew. His base also turns off the lights later than usual, Joong has to arrange new work assignments for everyone by himself.  Currently, it's already dark but Joong is still sitting at his desk, the lunch Dunk brought is still intact with no sign of being eaten, only Joong's figure attentively looking at the documents page by page.

There was a noise outside the door, Dunk went inside to look for Joong because it was late at night and he still hadn't come back. Dunk knew that Joong must have been busy these past few days so he didn't get angry for no reason anymore, he made food and brought it to him himself, not thinking that because of work he hadn't even touched his lunch.

Dunk placed the lunch box on the table, right next to the other lunch, then slowly approached him.

"Joong, it's late, why don't you rest?"
