NATE HAD SPILLED THE NEWS THAT DAN AND VANESSA WERE DATING so aubrey, ryan, cassie, serena and nate were all gathered at the vanderwoodsens to celebrate.
"alright remember guys, do not tell dan and vanessa i told you about them, its supposed to be a suprise" nate said, while glaring at cassie. "what?! you told me juicy gossip and don't expect me to tell my best friends she looked over at aubrey and serena.
"ooh guys there here!" serena jogged over to the door with cassie by her side, "hey lovebirds!" rufus patted dan on the back, "we are so happy for you both!" cassie smiled. "thank you cassie" vanessa hugged the girl.
the teens all were gathered on the couch just talking. "so v, dan, you guys doing anything tonight?" serena asked the two. "uhm" dan looked over at his girlfriend. "blair just sent me a text, she wants everyone to come to her moms fashion show and to bring as many friends" cassie paused, "she also mentioned she will be bringing all of her friends from nyu" cassie read sarcastically.
"what friends?" dan remarked, "i can bring baby asher" aubrey cooed over her baby. "yes he can run the runway" cassie smiled.
later that night, cassie had came alone to the fashion show, since nate had to head to columbia to do some studying with madelyn.
"blair!" cassie hugged the waldorf girl. "cassie! wheres ryan, serena, aubrey, and nate?" she asked in a panic. "aubrey's at home with the baby, i just saw ryan and serena and nates doing some studying with madelyn but he'll be here soon" she said.
"hey so sorry i'm late" nate kissed his girlfriend's cheek. "oh yeah blair, you said to bring a friend, meet madelyn" he introduced the girl, who had long curled hair, tacky makeup and a simple red dress.
"hi! i'm madelyn! sorry i kept nate too long, we got lost in our physics homework" the girl laughed. "and as soon as i realized the time, i reminded nate, and we got here as fast as we could"
"you wear that to study?" blair pointed at her fancy heels. "yeah" madelyn replied. "its so nice to offically meet you! sorry about the last time, it was an off day" cassie tried to change the subject. "you too cassie, nates told me a lot about you" madelyn looked over at nate. "its cassidy to you, she only lets people she actually likes call her cassie" blair scowled, and madelyn looked at her in intimidation. "ooh natie nate! they have the cocktails i was talking about, we'll see you guys later" she grabbed nates hand.
"natie nate? what is she 10?" the waldorf looked over at the blonde. "there just friends b, its nothing more" she told the girl. "mhm" blair glared, as cassie looked over at a familiar face.
"hey uhm blair please tell me the friends you were talking about, weren't prostitutes?" cassie looked at her. "cassidy clara jane davis gilmore! do you know how rude it is to assume that me blair waldorf doesn't have any real friends so she invited prositutes?!" she quietly yelled in the girls face and cassie gave her the "don't lie to me" look.
"okay okay fine! i didn't wanna tell my mom i had no friends so i got brandeis involved" blair stated. "blair, your mom loves you so much, and she will understand, just tell her the truth" cassie hugged the girl.
"now come on lets go watch the show" she wrapped her arm around the brunettes shoulders.
