Yoongi stood outside the BigHit office, his breath fogging in the cold morning air. He had debated going straight to Suho's place, where he could at least feel a semblance of safety. But he knew deep down he couldn't keep running. This needed to end, once and for all. With a deep breath, he pushed open the door and stepped inside.

The atmosphere was tense as he walked through the halls. He could feel the eyes of the staff on him, whispers following him like a shadow. The director was already in the conference room when he arrived, pacing back and forth with a scowl etched deep into his features.

"What the hell were you thinking, Yoongi?!" the director snapped, his voice reverberating off the walls. "Declaring your resignation on stage like that? Do you have any idea how unprofessional that was? Do you know the kind of damage you've done? I should sue you for this!"

Yoongi stood silently, his face impassive. He had expected this reaction, maybe even worse. He let the director's words wash over him, waiting for the moment when the others would join. He didn't have to wait long. The door burst open, and the members stormed in, their expressions a mix of shock, anger, and—was that sadness? Yoongi was confused. This wasn't the reaction he had anticipated.

"What the hell were you thinking?" Namjoon was the first to speak, his voice laced with disbelief. "Why did you do that, Yoongi? Why did you quit like that?"

Yoongi raised an eyebrow. "You're asking me that now? After everything?"

Jin stepped forward, his face contorted in frustration. "You didn't have to make that decision on your own! We're a team—we should've talked about it first."

"A team?" Yoongi couldn't help the bitter laugh that escaped his lips. "Is that what we are? Because it sure as hell hasn't felt like that lately."

"We didn't mean for things to go this far," Hoseok muttered, his eyes downcast. "We were just frustrated...we never wanted you to leave."

Yoongi's gaze hardened. "Frustrated? You made it perfectly clear how much of a burden I've become. You all did."

Taehyung looked at him, his voice barely above a whisper. "We were wrong, okay? We didn't realize how much we were hurting you."

Yoongi's hands balled into fists at his sides. "Hurting me? You think this is about my feelings? This is about my entire life being torn apart, and you all watched it happen! You didn't just stand by—you contributed to it!"

There was a heavy silence in the room, the weight of his words hanging between them. Jungkook, who had been silent until now, took a hesitant step forward. "Hyung...please. We can fix this. Just don't leave. We need you."

Yoongi shook his head, his voice cold. "Need me? You didn't seem to need me when you were yelling at me, pushing me around, making me feel like I was nothing. But now that I'm leaving, suddenly you care?"

Jin's face crumpled, his voice breaking. "We care, Yoongi! We've always cared, we just didn't know how to handle everything. We took it out on you, and that wasn't fair."

Yoongi looked at each of them, the pain in his chest intensifying with every word. "You're right. It wasn't fair. But it's too late now. I've already made up my mind."

The director, who had been silently fuming, finally exploded. "You're not going anywhere, Yoongi! You think you can just walk out on your contract? I won't allow it!"

Yoongi turned to face him, his expression icy. "So you'll keep me here, keep berating me, but won't let me leave? What do you want, huh? Do you want me to drop dead? Because trust me, I'm already halfway there."

His words cut through the room like a knife, leaving a stunned silence in their wake. The director's face paled, and the members looked horrified, as if they were only now realizing the depth of Yoongi's pain.

After what felt like an eternity, the director finally spoke, his voice much quieter. "One month. I'm giving you all one month. Take a break, clear your heads. If you still want to leave after that, we'll discuss it. But not before."

Yoongi clenched his jaw. He didn't want to agree to this—he wanted to be done with it, to walk away and never look back. But he knew this was the best he was going to get. "Fine. One month."

The members looked like they wanted to say more, to argue, but Yoongi had already made up his mind. He turned and walked out of the room, the weight of their stares pressing down on him. He heard footsteps behind him and glanced back to see Jin following him, desperation in his eyes.

"Yoongi, wait," Jin called, grabbing his wrist to stop him. "You know we didn't mean what we said, right? We were just...we were just scared."

"Scared of what?" Yoongi asked, his voice quiet. "Scared of me? Or scared of what would happen if I left?"

"Both," Jin admitted, tears welling up in his eyes. "We don't want to lose you. We need you, Yoongi. Please don't go."

Jungkook joined them, his voice trembling as he spoke. "Hyung, we're sorry. We never wanted to push you away. We just...we just didn't know how to deal with everything. But we never wanted you to leave."

Yoongi looked at them, his heart aching. "But you did push me away. You all did. And now it's too late. You made me feel like I didn't belong here anymore."

He pulled his wrist from Jin's grip and walked away, leaving them standing there, looking devastated. As he stepped outside, the cold air hit him, but he barely noticed. He was halfway to his cab when he heard someone call his name.

"Yoongi-ssi!"

He turned to see a man approaching him, a small card in his hand. It took Yoongi a moment to recognize him, but when he did, his eyes widened in surprise.

"I don't know if you remember me," the man said, slightly out of breath. "I interviewed you once, a while back. I just...I just wanted to let you know that I support you. There are so many people who love you, who believe in you. And if you ever need anything, just call me."

Yoongi took the card, too tired to respond. He nodded, and the man gave him a small smile before walking away. As Yoongi got into the cab, he glanced down at the card in his hand. "Eunwoo," he murmured, feeling a strange sense of comfort in the familiarity of the name.

The cab pulled away from the curb, and Yoongi leaned back in his seat, his mind racing. Everything felt so surreal, like he was trapped in a nightmare he couldn't wake up from. But for the first time in a long time, he felt a glimmer of hope. Maybe, just maybe, he could find a way to rebuild himself from the ashes.
