Mizuki woke up in Ghirahim's bed. She looked around the room and spotted him asleep in a chair. She took the blanket off of the bed and covered him with it, too afraid to move him just yet since she wanted him to sleep. She went to the kitchen and looked through the fridge.

Ghirahim: Oh, you're awake.

Mizuki quickly closed the fridge as if it was a restricted area only for him. She gave him a sheepish grin.

Mizuki: I was going to make you breakfast. W-what do you want?

Ghirahim: Anything is fine. I'm glad you're showing more emotion now.

Mizuki: It takes me a little while to get back into the apathetic act once I have a breakdown. It's going to take me a while to close myself back off.

Ghirahim: Please don't, I'll make sure no one hurts you... Emotionally or physically.

Mizuki: I'll try... But it isn't that simple... Hey Ghira... Why didn't you sleep in your bed?

Ghirahim: I figured it would be best to give you space to prevent nightmares about what happened or could have happened.

Mizuki: Thank you... Can you... hold me while I'm awake at least?

Ghirahim: If you're comfortable with that then I don't mind.

Ghirahim walked up behind her and wrapped his arms around her waist. He leaned forward and kissed her cheek.

Ghirahim: That's for the one you gave me last night.

Tears rolled down Mizuki's cheeks, making Ghirahim pull away.

Ghirahim: I'm sorry, should I not have done that?

Mizuki: I fucking love how good you make me feel. Please don't fuck up again, I want to be able to trust you.

...

It was only a few weeks before Mizuki completely shut down again. She had tried her best not to, but she couldn't help it. She got hurt when she was vulnerable, she wouldn't let it happen again. Ghirahim grew frustrated with her closed off personality, he had gone through the trouble of being more open with her and yet she wouldn't do the same. Mizuki was filled with rage, rage she wasn't going to show anyone. One of the reasons she shut down was rage. The war has revealed her brutal nature, her bloodlust could drive her insane. The few weeks before she shut down were filled with her coming back battered and bruised, covered in something or someone's blood. Ghirahim wouldn't lie and say he didn't find it attractive but he wouldn't lose Mizuki to her dark thoughts if he could help it.

Mizuki: I'm going out.

Ghirahim: Don't come back covered in blood and bruises.

Mizuki: I stopped doing that a while ago.

...

Ghirahim: She's been out for days... *Sigh*

He teleported to the location he figured she was and there she was. A large camp of Bokoblins set up here often and she would return to it when she needed to blow off some steam.

Ghirahim: Figured you'd be here.

Mizuki slowly turned to face him, her entire front side covered in blood. The look in her eyes was almost inhuman. Her eyes locked onto Ghirahim's weapon. She tilted her head as her fingers twitched around the hilt her sword. As he stepped closer Mizuki pointed her sword at him. Ghirahim put his sword down, rather than making it vanish, so Mizuki could watch where it was. Mizuki lunged at him but with a sudden snap, from an unknown source, she disappeared.

???: Third one to go insane from bloodlust... Tells you something.

Ghirahim: What have you done with her?
