Used for another person's benefits, and then they saw no more use of you and sacrificed you for their own greed, thinking you would give in and do what they want, but then, womp womp, they're dead.
Maybe it's too specific, but it'll make sense if you read my rambles down below.
This is a line from a rewritten book that I am currently working on. I have the original book still published as My Beginning & The End, but I felt I could do better and have rewritten it two or three times now and decided finally that maybe I shouldn't change it. So I'm just going to release one of the rewritten versions and unpublished the original, I think. Maybe not. Only time will tell, I guess.
