Valentines Day in the Office ; a Pharmercy fanfic

It was Valentine's day at the Overwatch Headquarters. Pharah was in the office sitting in her cubicle. Pharah had gotten Mercy a gift. She had gotten Mercy's favorite, swiss chocolate. She put the swiss chocolates in a small yellow box. She also made her a card saying, "Let's keep the skies clear together forever" and in the card was a little heart weapon charm to put on her healing staff. 

Pharah had known that one of their co-workers, Genji, also had feelings for Mercy. She wanted to evade Genji and hoped that Mercy would come into the office before him so she could give the gift to her. Pharah had always thought Mercy liked Genji back, but she didn't want to give up. She admired Mercy from afar. She fell deeper in love with Mercy everyday. Mercy healed her wounds, she fell in love. Mercy cared and talked to her, and she fell in love. Mercy stood there, she fell in love. Mercy could do anything and Pharah would fall deeper in love. 

The two had been friends since their teenage years. They are now in their 30's and have been working together for forever. They always worked well together, Pharah's jetpack allowing her to fly and Mercy being an angel allowed her to stay in the air with Pharah. Pharah was calling Mercy's name in her head.

"Angela, please come to work already." As soon as she thought that Mercy walked into the office as if Pharah had conjured her. 

Pharah was now trembling in fear. She was so nervous. This felt like a confession of love. Confessing to her best friend since childhood was a terrifying thing, what if their entire relationship changed? What if their entire dynamic changed? What if Mercy didn't want to see Pharah anymore? What if Mercy forbade Pharah from contacting her anymore? What if what if what if- The door opened and the tall slender blonde girl walked into the room, her wings out, usually she had them tucked behind her. 

Pharah looked at her beauty. Mercy was holding a small blue bag, similar color to Pharah's battle attire. Mercy noticed Pharah staring and hid the bag behind her back, then she smiled and waved at her. 

"Hi Fareeha!" Mercy exclaimed. 

"Oh hello Angela..!" Pharah said back. Mercy sat down at her cubicle and started talking to Pharah. 

"How have you been this morning Fareeha? I missed you!" She talked as she started to turn her computer on. 

"You seem in a good mood today Angela." Pharah smiled. 

Pharah started to get up to give Mercy her valentines day gift. 

"My day just got better now that you-" Pharah was cut off by a cyborg ninja dude entering the room. 

Genji. Genji walked in with a cheap box of chocolate and a cheesy dollar store valentines day card. 

"Angela!" Genji exclaimed. 

"Oh hello Genji!" He walked to Mercy's cubicle. He blushed and giggled, "I got you something.."

Mercy looked up at Genji and gasped in excitement when he pulled out the box of chocolate and the card. Pharah noticed that the gasp sounded fake and Mercy did not look so excited. 

"Ah! Dark chocolate! How.. sweet of you!" Mercy said with a slightly disappointed tone.

Dark chocolate? Pharah thought to herself. 

"She doesn't even like dark chocolate." She mumbled under her breath. 

Pharah was tempted to get up and shove Genji and his horrible gifts out of the way and give Mercy her gift. She watched as Mercy and Genji interacted and then decided to zone them out and start her work. A couple hours have passed and Mercy has been given so many gifts for valentines.
