It had been two months since Adam and Ann had met, and while Adam thought he knew a lot about Ann, his curiosity and eagerness made him realize he was only scratching the surface. Adam was so focused on the details—Ann's personality, life goals, family, and everything that could make or break their relationship. In contrast, Ann was more attuned to the emotional aspects of their budding love, savoring the honeymoon phase that follows the initial spark of romance.

Ann had always yearned to express love and to feel loved in return. On the surface, she might come across as someone who only cares about her career. But once she let down her guard, it was clear that beneath it all, she was a tender soul who just wanted to be cuddled and caressed all day. She craved to be adored, to feel loved in a way that exceeded even the highest expectations. She longed for someone to constantly remind her of her beauty, to tell her she was a princess of the golden Victorian era. This explained her demanding neediness towards Adam, her hourly reminders of how much she loved him, and her endless declarations of affection.

Adam, on the other hand, was invested in getting to know her on a deeper level, sharing stories about their days, and making sure they understood each other better. He genuinely loved Ann, which is why he was putting in so much effort to ensure their relationship flourished. He never saw her as childish or needy—he found her quirks endearing, never boring.

One day, as they chatted:

"Adam, you're so cute, I want to squish your cheeks so badly!" Ann exclaimed.

Adam grinned, "Go ahead, but haven't you seen yours?"

"Nooo, no one is allowed to get near my cheeks!" Ann protested playfully.

"Okay, Mrs. Ann, my cheeks are at your service. Anything else for my lady?" Adam teased.

"Yes, good boy. Such a good servant," Ann teased back.

Adam couldn't resist a sarcastic quip. "Well, well, look who's talking—the boss lady who wants to enslave men and make them work for free in her company."

Ann laughed, "Yeah, but I'll give you a salary because you're a good boy."

"Mmm, no thanks, ma'am. I'm in no need of charity," Adam replied, his tone playful.

Ann's laughter was infectious, and soon Adam found himself laughing too. "What's happening, Ann? You're still laughing hysterically—are you crazy? Haha, don’t pee yourself at least."

"Hahaha, yeah, I get crazy sometimes!" Ann gasped between laughs. "You made me laugh so much, Adam. I love you."

"I love you more, Mrs. Annie."

"No, I love you more. You barely even say it," Ann pouted.

"That's not true. I just say it less often, yes, but it's more meaningful when I don't say it so frequently. Or at least, I'm afraid it will lose its meaning."

"So you think I'm just saying it for no reason, Adam?"

Ann's tone shifted, and Adam could sense her upset. "I'm upset at you," she said quietly.

"Ann, I didn't mean it that way," Adam replied, his voice softening. "But you accused me of not loving you, and that's not true. It hurts to hear that, especially when I'm loving you so much."

"Adam, I'm an emotional person, and I need this level of love from my man. That's the least to be expected," Ann explained.

"So you think I'm below your expectations, Ann?" Adam asked, his voice tinged with concern.

"I deserve to be treated like a princess, with a certain level of love. My man should be up to these expectations."

"Okay, Ann. I'm doing my best. I'll tell you more if that's what makes you happy."
