CHAPTER 37

The fae realm had requested a meeting with the supreme god, in which he granted. They were gathered in the grand hall with the supreme god sitting on his throne, the council of elders on his left side, while the faes sat down opposite them.

"My king" elder lyra spoke up.
"Considering how we were of help to you, we have only one request which we hope you would grant.

"Which is?"

"Bring back the king of faes!" The council of elders gasped even the king had a frown on his face, do they know what this means?

"Lyra, do you know the consequences of what you're asking me to do? He didn't wait for her answer, he continued: "if I bring back the king of faes, xandros would have to be brought back as well! And that's not all I would have to return to the heavens as the supreme god In which if I do, I would never return to this realm! Xandros and the king of faes would be in charge! Now tell me, if the king of evil rises again, can you all face him alone?"

"We have done that before my king! We can do it again!"

"No!" Mira spoke up ( as leader of the night clans she was part of the council of elders) "there shall be no more war elder Lyra!"

"But isn't this selfishness, the king of faes is your brother isn't  he? Bring him back! We faes needs our king back!"

There was a loud silence in the grand hall, everyone weighing the consequences of elder lyra's request. Some couldn't believe it, while some were in support of it.

The supreme god looked around his gaze lingering on elder lyra and the faes, he then decided he would grant their request.

"I have thought about your request elder lyra and I have agreed to it, I would bring back the king of faes and xandros! While they stay here in this realm I would return to the heavens, and I will never return nor interfere in your matters!

Loud gasps echoed in the hall.
"My king please, don't do it!" Zephyr begged but it fell on deaf ears. While everyone else was disturbed and panicking, elder lyra on the other hand seemed to be enjoying the moment.

The supreme god knew something was not right and so he decided to play along. The meeting ended and the ritual of the return of the xandros will happen on the night of the full moon, while the king of faes would happen at the time when the sun rises in the west.

The faes returned back to their realms while the supreme god called for a meeting between him and the council of elders.

They all gathered in the throne room all silently waiting for what the supreme god had to say to them.

"I called this meeting to address elder Lyra's request.........I know someday I will have to bring back my two brothers as things cannot be complete without them, but elder Lyra's requesting for it to be done is what is fishy, all these years they had no king and they survived, then why is she suddenly asking for him now?......."

The council of elders went silent, each person having a deep thought about the issue, the silence was short lived as the supreme god spoke: " it could have been that before xandros died, he might have manipulated elder Lyra into requesting for this......."

"You're totally right my king! A powerful demon like xandros would try every means to come back amd the only thing he could use, Is the people!" Said Dylan.

"Well said leader of the water clan!" Zephyr said as he stood up to talk: "I believe we should get to bottom of ths and find a way to relieve elder Lyra of this manipulation!"

"Like I said before, I need to bring them both back! This is not my home, I belong in the heavens, I am the supreme god! Xandros jealously and drastic acts made me come here, so that I could keep an eye on him! But if he comes back I would leave and I fear you all wouldn't be able to face him! Because he would be back stronger than ever!
