Two Worlds Collide

Chapter 14

~September 18th~

It's the day that Isabella is flying to Las Vegas to look at apartments. She had an early flight at eight in the morning. Kelsey was being a trooper and picking her up at the airport. The plane landed around 9:30 in the morning Las Vegas time. When Isabella saw Kelsey after getting her bag, she ran to her and gave her the biggest hug. Kelsey kissed her before they walked out to Kelsey's car. "I don't know how you're awake right now. Didn't you guys just get back a few hours ago?" Isabella asked.

"Yeah, but you are worth staying up for." Kelsey said. Kelsey drove to her house, and they went inside.

"Baby, you can go to sleep. I know you're exhausted." Isabella said.

"I want to stay up and be with you." Kelsey said.

"As much as I would love that, I know you need sleep, especially since you have practice later today. I will be right here unless you wake up while I'm gone." Isabella said.

"Can you lay with me?" Kelsey asked.

"Of course." Isabella said. She sat her stuff down, took off her shoes, and they went to Kelsey's room. They laid down, and instead of Isabella snuggling up to Kelsey, Kelsey snuggled up to Isabella. Isabella played with Kelsey's hair, and next thing she knew Kelsey was out like a light. She decided to take a selfie with Kelsey sleeping and captioned it,

Reunited with mi amor❤️ (Kelsey- this is payback for taking a selfie with me asleep next to you😂)

Isabella posted it to her Snapchat story designated for close friends. Isabella didn't want to get up and risk waking Kelsey up, so she laid there and got an hours worth of sleep before she absolutely had to get up and get ready to meet Kelsey's friend. Isabella managed to slip away from Kelsey's arms and went to the bathroom to get ready. She brushed her hair and put on a pair of jean shorts, a red cropped tank top, and a pair of her Brooks. She didn't do a full face of makeup, but she did put on mascara and lip oil. Before she left, she took a mirror picture in Kelsey's guest room. She walked out into the living room, and Kelsey was walking out. "Is it time for you to meet up with Stacie?" Kelsey asked.

"Yeah." Isabella said.

"Okay. If you want to, you can take my car so you don't have to take an Uber." Kelsey said.

"Are you sure?" Isabella asked.

"Yeah! Some Uber drivers here are a little weird, and I don't want anything to happen to you." Kelsey said.

"Okay. I promise I will drive very carefully." Isabella said.

"Just don't yell at anyone." Kelsey said with a slight smile.

"Yeah, that I make no promises of." Isabella said. Kelsey chuckled before kissing her 'goodbye'.

"I love you, and drive safe." Kelsey said.

"I love you too, and I will." Isabella said. Isabella grabbed Kelsey's keys and went to her car. She got in and connected her phone to the Apple CarPlay. She put in the address of where she was meeting Stacie and then turned on her music. She pulled out of Kelsey's driveway and drove to the address. She pulled up and saw a lady standing at the front door. Isabella parallel parked and walked up to her.

"You must be Isabella!" she said.

"I am! You're Stacie, right?" Isabella asked.

"That's me! Are you ready for the first tour?" Stacie asked.

"Yep!" Isabella said. Stacie unlocked the door, and they walked up to the third floor of the apartment building. She showed Isabella the two bedroom apartment. It had a small kitchen, but that wasn't a big deal to Isabella. The closets were on the smaller side, but the bathroom was pretty spacious. The down side is that the utilities, water, and trash were not included in the price.
