It was raining hard. Aiara walk through the house to make everything is OK. She check in on the kids before getting a glass of water.
She heard glass break and set the cup on the counter. Felix was attending a meeting so he's not home and the guards are patrolling the grounds. The maids all retire to bed.
Her heart is beating fast as she she listen carefully. Someone breaking into the most guarded place is bizarre.
Aiara gasp when she a hand wrap around her mouth. "Shh." Something prick her neck and she immediately lost the function to her limbs. "Take her."
She can't scream or anything. She's paralysed.
Felix was exhausted. He can't remembering the last time he has been this exhausted. He open the door and remove his coat. He hand it up and put his she's on the shoe rack. All he want now is to take a shower and cuddle with Aiara. The best way to end the day.
He stop midstride and sniff the air. He smell fear and a unknown smell.
With vampire speed he was up the stairs and to his bedroom. He throw open the door and it's empty. Aiara smell was weak meaning she hasn't been inside for a while.
He run back downstairs and wake everyone.
"Your Majesty."
"Where the fuck have you all been?"
"Patrolling sir."
"Some fucking patrolling. Find my wife and find her now! No one sleep until she's back home."
"Daddy."
Felix turn around and Connie run to him. Felix pick her up and hope the noise don't wake Bella.
"It's OK sweetheart."
"Where's mommy?"
"Mommy will be home soon."
He try to get her to go back to sleep. Felix tried mindlink but he can't even feel her. Something was dulling the connection and it make me fucking mad.
"Your Majesty we have something."
Felix took the tablet and look at the video footage. He curse as he saw one of his own men carrying out his wife.
"Find me the owner of that van."
Felix run upstairs and get Connie back into bed. Bella was thankfully still asleep.
His head is throbbing. Someone is trying to enter his mind. His first thought is maybe it's Aiara but he can't be sure.
He lift the mental wall and grip his head from the pain. Something is happening to Aiara. Something bad.
He left the house with a uncontrollable bloodlust.
"Felix help me!"
He stop.
"Aiara. Where are you?"
He's glad she can communicate with him.
"I don't know. It hurt Felix! They are trying to turn me back."
"What do you see?"
"It looks like a lab. Please hurry."
Felix spend the next few hours going from one lab to the next. He didn't stop. He won't stop until he get his hands on those who took her from him.
He pick up her scent on the outskirts of town. But the thing is its government property. Human government property.
Felix prowled the woods until he saw a white building. Not easily spotted at night but he's not normal.
He run to the building and jump to the roof. His fangs came out, his blood pumping in his ears. He can hear several heartbeats. He smell his wife.
He enter the building. He don't plan on leaving anyone alive. He start with the front room. He rip throats and hearts out. He kill his way through the building.
"Sweetheart what do you hear?"
"Screaming."
"I'm coming for you."
Felix leave no room untouched. He is craving blood and he's taking it.
Once he can only hear one heartbeat he went to get his wife. (His fiance but I like wife better.)
He found the lab she was in and he angrily rip everything apart.
"It's OK sweetheart." He pick her up and get her out. Once a safe distance away he set her down and check her over. "Does it still hurt?"
"Yeah. They give me something." Her hand went to her neck. "I want to go home."
Felix is going to deal with security when he gets home. A entire estate filled with armed men and yet they lose the queen. What the hell is he paying them for?
