With how much her ears were hurting, Jodi didn't enjoy being inside the ship all the time. All the loud sounds weren't comfortable to be around. That's when she decided that being out in the woods was a better idea.

And she didn't hate it. She quite liked being outside. She never noticed how green it was. And she liked the total silence. No monsters screaming to escape. No crowds around her to make her feel anxious. And no Ranger's around to waste her energy on. She had all the freedom out here.

But Heckyl needed her. She knew that. Even when she wasn't around, he needed her. It was a nice escape from Heckyl too.

She stood up from the floor and walked back towards the ship. Putting her headphones on before walking back inside. Just as she stepped in, a small gust of wind blew past her. It left her very confused. Jodi looked around. There wasn't any sort of fan around.

She made her way towards the center of the ship. Seemed like everyone was in there. Heckyl, Singe, Fury, and another monster she didn't recognize. "Who's this?" Jodi questioned.

"Ninja." Heckyl answered.

"Okay." Jodi laughed.

"And you'll be going with him to go after the Ranger's."

Jodi's smile dropped. "Do I have to wear a disguise?"

~

A disguise was not needed thankfully. But she still needed to be careful. They carefully walked around the woods in order to not get caught. "How long until we get there? You are very slow." Ninja mocked.

"Just shut up. I need total silence in order for me to hear my surroundings. It would be nice if you could help." Jodi glared.

"Fine."

It was known that the Ranger's would train in the woods. There wasn't anyone around that they could hurt. And no one would find out about them. Or so they thought.

They walked a little longer. At one point, Ninja grabbed her arm, preventing her from walking any further. "I hear a bike."

"A bike?"

"Listen."

The two went completely silent. After a few seconds, Jodi could slightly hear it. "It's quite loud. I don't understand how you can't hear it."

Jodi ignored his comment. "Hide somewhere where I can see you. I'll climb up a tree and signal to you when you can hack their computer. I don't have to remind you to be fast, do I?"

"No need."

He quickly sped away and Jodi began climbing the tree. Once up top, she looked down and watched Tyler ride around while shooting some targets. And both Kendall stood at the computer while Shelby collected the rest of the targets.

Jodi looked around for Ninja. She spotted him hiding in a bush behind a few trees. Heckyl's other monsters needed to learn from him.

Jodi turns back to the crew. Tyler made his way back and unmorphed. he hopped off his bike, and that's when Kendall finally stepped away from her computer. They were deep in conversation, neither paying attention to what was around them.

Jodi signaled to Ninja. He quickly hacked the computer and ran back into hiding. "This better work."

~

"You're slow, aren't you."

"Don't mock me." Jodi glared.

Her phone began to ring. She lifted it up and saw Heckyl's name. She didn't want to answer it, but she knew she had to. "Yes?"

"Has it been done?" He asked.

"Yes. We'll just have to wait. Who know's for how long."

"Perfect."

"I hear footsteps." Ninja whispered.

"I'll call you back."

Jodi quickly hung up the phone. She put her hood on and the two stayed low. Slowly, she started to hear to footsteps as well. It was like someone was running. She turned in the direction of the footsteps. It was Tyler. And he seemed so focused in his run to notice the two.

"I'll take care of him."

"No, don-"

He sped away before she could say anything else. "I don't think he understand's what's on the line here." Spite said.

"Not one bit." Jodi shook her head.

It was easy to catch up to Tyler. He wasn't morphed, which made it easier to catch up to him. She hid behind a tree when she caught up to Tyler. Just then, Ninja tackled Tyler, causing him to fall to the floor.

"There was no need to do this. We could have gone back and gone with our day." Jodi whined.

"You are not happy about this."

"Tell me about it."

But one thing was off about the situation. Tyler never even tried to stand up. Not even to morph. Ninja stalked towards him, weapons in hand. Jodi began to feel anxious about the situation.

"Normally I would agree to what he's about to do. But this will ruin Singe's plan. We have to stop him."

Before Jodi could even stand up, someone else had kicked Ninja away. Jodi was left confused when seeing another Ranger. Not just that, it was the Aqua Ranger. "What?"

The two began fighting. But it was clear that Ninja was losing. "Switch."

Spite to over. She quickly ran out, kicking the Aqua Ranger away and pushing Ninja to the floor. "Let's go." She glared.

"Let me fight. I can win this."

Spite could feel Jodi's emotions. She was anxious still. And she knew it wasn't about Ninja.

"You and I both know you're not winning right now." Spite grabbed his arm and pulled him back up. Then pointing her weapon at him. "Let's go." She threatened.

"Fine."

Spite turned back to Tyler. He was still on the floor. But she knew he'd be fine.

By the time Tyler got his vision back, everyone was gone. No Ninja, Spite, not even the Aqua Ranger. He had so many questions. But no one was around to answer to him. He had to go back to base.
