To say Nick was confused was an understatement. He was completely lost and struggling to understand what was going on. He groaned, dropping his head into his hands. He couldn't think properly. Desperate for clarity, he pulled out his phone, tapped on his favorite contact, and listened to the phone ring, hoping for a familiar voice to provide some answers.

"Hello," came a very groggy voice. "Blimey, did I wake you up?"

"No, calling at 4 a.m. definitely didn't wake me up," the voice grumbled, clearly annoyed.

"I'm sorry, I forgot about the time difference. I'll hang up now if—"

"Don't you dare!" came the exasperated reply. "I'm already awake, so you'd better have a good reason for this.

"I need some advice, Asia. I think I'm going crazy," Nick said, his voice tinged with desperation.

Asia's voice came back teasingly, "I figured that out a long time ago."

Nick rolled his eyes, "I'm serious, Asia."

"Sorry," Asia replied, her tone softening.

"So, what's up?" Asia asked casually.

"I think I'm gay," Nick confessed.

There was a thud, followed by a stunned silence.

"Asia?" Nick asked nervously.

Then, a very high-pitched scream pierced through the silence.

OMG, SERIOUSLY? HOW LONG HAVE YOU GUYS BEEN DATING? IS HE HOT? I'VE ALWAYS WANTED A GAY BESTIE!"
Nick winced at the volume. "Asia, calm down, please."
"Sorry, sorry, I'm just a bit excited. It's a big deal, you know!"
"You don't say," Nick mumbled, rolling his eyes despite himself. "I was just hoping for some advice, not an interrogation."

"Sorry," came the sheepish reply after a moment. "Want me to come over? I can be there in no time."

Nick grinned, "It's not as if you live next door anymore."

He could practically feel her rolling her eyes through the phone. "Well, I can always fly over. It's been ages since I've seen you guys."

"You were just here last month," Nick reminded her.

"Exactly, too long," she insisted. "Hang up the phone, and I'll book a flight right now."

Nick chuckled, shaking his head. "Alright, alright. See you soon then."

Nick hung up the phone and grinned to himself.

Nick groaned as he trudged through the door, exhausted from a terrible day at school. For some reason, Charlie hadn't been there, which had really brought his mood down. He'd tried texting him, but there was no reply. He was in a considerably bad mood when he stomped into his room, but his mood lifted when he saw the unexpected sight before him.

There, lying on his bed and fast asleep, was Asia. He'd completely forgotten about her visit. A wicked grin spread across his face as he pulled out his phone and snapped a picture of her, excellent blackmail material.

He plopped down next to her, and she groaned, slowly opening her eyes. "Hey, Nickie."

"Hey, Ash," Nick replied.

Asia rolled her eyes and sat up. "Don't call me that."

"Why do you insist on sleeping in my bed when you have your own room?" Nick asked, bemused.
