Monika: After the murder of her father in the line of duty three years ago, Makoto Niijima lived only with her older sister, Sae Niijima. Sae was the kind of sister Makoto looked up to and worried for at the same time. After all, Sae was determined to get to the top and was overworking herself in order to do it. She also put some high expectations on Makoto, who did her best to live up to those.
