The autumn afternoon in Liang City had just seen a rain shower, cooling the air and bringing many people out of their homes.

The tavern in the city was packed with customers, and the storyteller on the stage clapped his wooden block to catch the audience's attention. "It is said that all the spiritual veins in the world originate from Canglan Mountain. It is rumored that countless treasures, spirit herbs, and spirit beasts can be found there, with even the very ground paved with spirit stones..."

Everyone listened in awe, except for a figure in the corner, who was furiously eating. The dishes and bowls were stacked so high in front of them that the person was almost entirely hidden.

After a short while, a clear and bright voice came from behind the pile of dishes, "Waiter, bring me ten more bowls of beef noodles!"

But instead of the waiter, the tavern owner, arms crossed, approached her. "Miss, how about you settle the bill for what you've eaten first before ordering more?"

A delicate young girl poked her head out from behind the dishes. Her long black hair was not done up in a bun but hung in two simple braids on either side of her face. Despite her lack of makeup, her youthful features made her look even more pure and fresh.

"Money?" The girl looked confused. "What is that?"

The owner's expression darkened as he held back his anger, "Miss, it's common courtesy to pay for your meal. You're not thinking of dining and dashing, are you?"

The girl blinked, "I don't have any money, but will this work?"

As she spoke, she produced a spirit stone from her pocket like a magician.

The owner's eyes widened.

The bustling tavern fell silent in an instant.

Liang City was under the influence of the Tianxing Sect, so cultivators often came and went. The people here had seen spirit stones before. The one in her hand was crystal clear, free of any impurities, at least a mid-grade spirit stone.

Forget about paying for her meal, this stone could easily buy the entire tavern.

The girl tilted her head and asked, "Is this enough?"

The owner hurriedly nodded, "Enough, more than enough! Whatever you'd like to eat, just let us know, and we'll bring it right away..."

After the owner left with the spirit stone in hand, the lively chatter in the tavern gradually resumed. However, many patrons couldn't help but sneak glances at the girl in the corner.

The waiter diligently cleared away the dishes from her table, and it was only then that people finally got a good look at her.

She was dressed in striking red clothes, with almond-shaped eyes and peachy cheeks. Her skin was as white and delicate as a freshly peeled egg. Although she wore no jewelry, some noticed the jade pendant hanging from her waist, recognizing it as a piece carved from Linglong jade.

Linglong jade was one of the most important materials for crafting storage artifacts. Only storage bags with a piece of Linglong jade could have their own independent space and store living creatures.

However, for most storage bags, only a grain-sized piece of Linglong jade was used. These onlookers had never seen someone so extravagant as to use a whole piece of Linglong jade to make a storage bag.

Almost everyone assumed that this young girl, adorned with such treasures yet so naïve about worldly matters, must be a little immortal princess who had secretly snuck out to play.
