Si Nian had already moved into the house.

The orientation was excellent, with good airflow from north to south.

The light was abundant, and the rooms were spacious, avoiding any sense of confinement.

Not only did everyone have their own room, but there was also a study and even a children's room.

It felt tailor-made for them.

The place had been cleaned, but being unoccupied for a long time, there was still a slight musty smell in the air.

As Si Nian settled into the master bedroom on the second floor, she began tidying up.

The little one, who initially planned to stay on the third floor, quickly followed her to the second floor, hauling his belongings down and searching for the nearest room.

Once the family had divided the rooms, they got to cleaning.

They opened all the windows to let in fresh air.

In the afternoon, Lin Xiao brought Da Huang and a few rabbits over.

Hearing that Da Huang and the rabbits had arrived, Zhou Zehan dashed outside like a gust of wind.

Si Nian followed behind, urging him to slow down.

Da Huang, panting and looking fierce, had clearly been startled during the journey.

Once he saw Si Nian and the others, he ran over, excitedly nudging them.

"Grandma, look! What a big dog!"

Nearby, some neighborhood kids were pressing against the iron gate, eager to peek through.

"Wow, that dog is huge!"

"Did the people next door come back?"

A woman in her fifties, living in a similarly structured house next to the Zhou family's new home, looked on with curiosity at Si Nian and the commotion as they unloaded the dog and rabbits from the car.

Feeling a bit puzzled, Little Second heard the noise and curiously peeked over.

He saw a little girl in a princess dress, her eyes widening in surprise.

The girl, named Jiajia, stared back at him, equally intrigued.

She tugged at her older brother's sleeve, stuttering, "Brother, look! There's a little fairy!"

Zhou Zedong, holding a few rabbits, glanced over at the neighbors but quickly returned his gaze, unimpressed.

Not seeing what was so interesting, he continued walking.

"Hey, wait for me!"

Little Second's eyes were still fixed on Jiajia. He thought about saying hello, but hesitated, fearing she'd look down on him for coming from the countryside.

With his brother walking away, he lost his courage and hurried after him.

Lin Xiao helped move things inside, staring at the house in amazement for a moment before snapping back to reality.

Originally, Siniang wanted to invite Lin Xiao to stay for dinner, but he had other matters to attend to and left after a quick farewell.

Though the family's belongings had all been moved in, the kitchen was completely bare, so they needed to go buy groceries.

Seeing that most of the cleaning was done, Siniang took the kids out to shop for food.

As they walked, she carefully observed their new surroundings. While it looked like an older neighborhood, the area was lively, with convenient transport and plenty of shops.

After a short walk, they came across schools and markets, and the kids were wide-eyed at everything.

"Is this really where we're going to live? It's so bustling!"

Little Second, carrying a small basket, followed closely behind.

They arrived at the farmer's market, which was significantly larger than the one in town.

Whatever they needed—vegetables, fruits, seafood, fresh meat, or dried goods—was available in abundance.

Siniang had a long list of things to buy, and before long, Little Second's basket was overflowing.

He had always been strong for his age and didn't complain about the weight, his eyes darting around in excitement.

"Look, Mom! Is this a crab?"

"Wow! This fish is colorful!"
