Third Person POV
Dagruel narrowed his eyes at the land near the Heaven's Tower. Just as Mobius had said, Iris was standing face-to-face against a fragment of Ivarage alone.
"What should we do?" Glassord asks their ruler, "The Heaven's Tower is under our protection but she wants to fight alone."
"I don't doubt her ability but..." Dagruel turned to Mobius, who had her arms crossed, "... Are we really leaving her to settle things alone?"
"Ugh..." Mobius grumbles as she puts a hand on her head, "I swear I'll have to talk to Her Majesty about influencing our Herrschers. Either one or the other are so freaking stubborn...!"
"In Mobius's language, it means 'Yes, we can leave her to settle things alone for the time being'!" Vill-V told them, "Iris is a strategist but sometimes collecting data in person might be the best option."
Glassord returned to their side after checking on their army, "Then what should we do? Just watch?"
Vill-V shrugs at him, "It's the only thing we can do now. Maybe we'll be able to get an idea of how Ivarage is doing all this."
"Also, save your trump card for whatever that might come next." Mobius sighed as she focused on the battle, "There's no doubt that Ivarage has an Ultimate Skill. So no matter what, we have to keep an eye on this battle."
"Hmph, that's one cheeky brat." Fenn huffed in distaste, "And here I thought I'd get a chance against that Ivarage."
"It's not the real one, so just be patient." Vill-V turned her attention back to the battle, "But don't take your eyes off their battle."
Mobius frowned, shaking her head in mild exasperation, "... When have you become this stubborn, Iris?"
...
"It's been a long time since I was able to fight." Ivarage said with a grin, "I hope you'll be good enough to satisfy me. After this, I'll be taking your power."
"You should say those things after you win." Iris retorted bluntly, "And there is no way I would let you win."
Iris closed her eyes as she held out her hand, letting a glow settle on top of it, "The dawn of creation... Key of Genesis. I'll be using your power now."
Tossing the glow up into the air, a magic array appeared above them, inscribed with a complicated pattern that Ivarage narrowed its eyes at before turning back to Iris.
"If you're going to use magic, then it's no use." Ivarage said
"That's not up to you to decide." Iris rebutted as she pulled out her Staff of Genesis, "I won't allow your destruction to rein free. I'm stopping you here."
Ivarage chortled loudly, "Try it if you can! I'll make sure to blast you into pieces before I take your soul!"
Iris's eyes flicked to her legs when she felt a surge of unknown energy clinging onto them. Before she knew it, the energy that clung to her legs exploded. Ivarage had sneakily released bits of its energy, sticking them to Iris and then exploding them at the right time.
"How's that?! I told you that you were too arrogant to challenge me!" Ivarage laughed aloud
"Is that so?" A quiet voice sounded and Iris was behind Ivarage in an instant with a sharp gaze, "Sorry but the arrogant one seems to be you."
With a swipe of her staff, Ivarage was thrown off its feet before it was faced with a laser barrel, which released an energy blast directly at its head and Iris moved away with a flap of her wings. But as she stabilized herself in the air, black spikes emerged from the smoke and she hurried to dodge all of them, barely getting past them but grazed a part of her wing, which she quickly healed.
