Third Person POV

Milim dodged the spikes protruding from the debris beneath her. They seemed to be normal rocks but on closer inspection, they were covered with Stardust energy, the same power she inherited from her father. It's not a surprise, considering that he's currently standing in front of her. Lucia supported Rudra, who was fighting Feldway, but even then, Veldanava was enough of an adversary.

"You shouldn't be distracted on a battlefield," Veldanava warned her and casually swung his sword, releasing a burst of energy as Milim countered with her own Stardust energy. "At least it seems like you are keenly good at fighting back, but this shouldn't be all, is it?"

With an easy flick of his wrist, spatial fissures began to crack and split open, causing Milim to lose her footing underneath her as she hurriedly brought out her dragonoid form to escape from them. Turning his head slightly, he noticed Velzard just as she appeared behind him, shrouded in a veil of misty ice, and caught her kick infused with <Divine Ice King, Cthulhu>'s power.

"Oh?" Veldanava mused as he noticed the change, "It doesn't seem like you have <Patience King, Gabriel> anymore. In fact... the Ultimate Skill has evolved?"

"Well, I guess if I didn't change, then it would be troubling." Velzard stated and backed off after Veldanava pushed her leg away, "Guy!"

Moving with <Spatial Movement> was simple for Guy, so he used the chance when Veldanava was blocking Velzard to close the gap between them, throttling power from <Pride King, Lucifer> into his blade as it was coated in demonic flames. From his other side, Milim held Asura in her hand, coating it with Stardust energy. Amused, Veldanava blocked her blade with his while catching Guy's blade without flinching.

"Huh..." Guy gritted out as he tried to push forward, "... You say that you are currently in a weakened form but I'm having a hard time believing that."

"That's because none of you are taking this battle seriously." Veldanava stated bluntly, "I told you, didn't I? I am holding back. The order is still 'to kill'. That hasn't changed. You better work harder or maybe I should remind you what it means to be serious."

Veldanava held Guy's blade tighter while his energy blade burst into a bright light, blinding Milim as sharp spears appeared above them.

"<Heaven's Spear>."

Velzard gasped as the spears shot toward the two, "<Snow Crystal>!"

In a split second before the spears could touch the two, Velzard's defensive barriers encased them but the spears penetrated easily, and hit their marks. Veldanava's lips curled into amusement again as he noticed Guy had been teleported away from danger by a green sphere formed by the Seed of Sumeru and Milim was unharmed by the attack.

"Not bad." His eyes flickered down to Su, who still had the hourglass in hand, seemingly concentrating on the battles occurring everywhere despite the distance from where Hua and Feiyun were fighting, "A keen sense and good timing. This is interesting."

"Doing something unnecessary..." Guy clicked his tongue as soon as the sphere fell, "He should really be concentrating on the important thing."

Veldanava shrugged. "Come on, Guy. Lighten up. An ally like that is better than him becoming an enemy."

He wasn't wrong but Guy was still annoyed that things had to come down to this. It was enough that Ivarage caused them trouble but having familiar faces as enemies to face off against was even more troublesome. He could only hope that Hua would make things quick and free Feiyun from Ivarage's control.

...

Vega cackled as power surged into his Evil Dragon Spawns. It was as if they were an extension of himself now, as he could see through their eyes as if they were his. What's more, he could infinitely regenerate them through Feiyun's feathers, so Testarossa and Diablo along with Hinata and Corrie were swarmed by their sheer numbers.
