"Oh my god!!! Eeeehhh!"
"No way!" the other gasped.
"Guys, come on, what do I do?!" Jeongin hid his face in his hands, knowing he was blushing madly as he recalled the moments of last night.
Yes. He surprisingly remembered every single detail of that kiss. What was he feeling right now? Even Jeongin had no idea. It felt like a stomachache—those so-called 'butterflies.'
He was completely flustered, recalling how gentle his husband was with the kiss, how softly he placed his lips on his. And, even more surprising, it was Jeongin who had initiated the kiss, not Chan. Chan had even warned him, but instead of staying in place, Jeongin closed the gap between them. He wondered why he did it. Sure, he had drunk a lot that night, but he still couldn't explain it.
He had told both of his friends everything about it, of course—gotta keep them updated with the latest gossip.
"Yang Jeongin, look at you! Getting mature!" Felix teased after hearing that Jeongin kissed him first.
"H-Hey!"
"And the fact that he still warned you... That just proves how much of a green flag he is!" Felix sighed. "Man, I wish I'd find a guy like yours." He dramatically acted lovesick.
"Didn't Jeongin give you that bodyguard's number?" Seungmin asked, rolling his eyes at Felix.
"Oh my god, yes! We've been texting!" Felix blushed, quickly pulling out his phone.
"Oh, come on! You guys should be helping me out right now," Jeongin groaned, his face flat against the table, while Seungmin leaned over to see whatever Felix was showing him. Jeongin regretted giving Felix Changbin's number.
"Jeongin," Seungmin finally called, and Jeongin looked up. "I think you're making progress. How do you feel about Chan now that you kissed him?"
"I... I don't know..." Jeongin stuttered, feeling his face grow hotter.
"Well, think about it. You're confusing yourself, Innie. You're even blushing right now," Seungmin pointed out, and Felix nodded in agreement.
"I don't know... I think... I think I'm starting to like him..." Jeongin admitted. "No one has ever treated me like this before—protective, kind, caring... Even though he's scary, I feel comfortable around him. It's all happening so fast; it's like my brain and my heart are having an argument, you know?"
"Then let your heart win," Felix said. "What does your heart want?"
"My heart..." Jeongin repeated, thinking about Felix's question. "My heart... wants me to accept him... It's telling me to love him. Chan always tries his best to make me feel safe and happy. He tries to give me everything, even when I don't ask for much..."
"I hope that stupid mother-in-law of yours doesn't force you into a divorce!" Seungmin scoffed. "My favorite ship is finally progressing, and she's always in the way."
