White Star's lackeys had already injured half of the heroes. It looked like there was really no hope. However, White Star and his side were also injured.
Cale bit his lower lip in frustration. Then he spoke, "I'm heading in."
When they heard those words come out of Cale's mouth, they all begged him to stay. But Cale refused, seeing the situation become like a tumbling castle.
Cale didn't want to feel the pain he felt last time, truly, but he had no choice. 'He's gotten stronger.' He killed him once, so he could kill him again. This time, though, he'll make sure that white radish is dead for good.
Alberu almost fainted on the spot. He remembered what a shit-show he caused, the damages, the out of control citizens, the economical state, the paperwork! The emotional damage!
"Your highness!"
The royal knights held Alberu straight from falling to his knees.
"I- I- I'm fine.."
He wasn't.
"You're finally joining in." White Star smirked. "Took you long enough."
Yoonghyuk, who was standing still beside Cale, also stepped in. "Cale, I'll attack, assist me." He said.
'Wow, two protagonist-like bastards working together.' Dokja thought. 'Ugh.' He groaned at the sight. They looked like the prettiest couple, especially in this moment, fighting by each other's back.
Even the roses that's praised for their beauty seemed bland in front of them.
'I guess we can defeat him now that he's joining.'
"Alright." Cale agreed to help Joonghyuk.
Wind appeared beneath Joonghyuk's feet. It was Cale, the Sound of the Wind.
The corners of Joonghyuk's lips curled a bit. He dashed forward at White Star with his blade ready to kill.
'He's quick.' White Star thought.
Joonghyuk left a large scar on White Star's cheek, piercing through his shield made of water.
White Star attempted to widen the distance between them, only to get hit in the arm by Cale's rock spears.
'Shit, I was too careless.' White Star cursed, gritting his teeth.
While he was thinking in the middle of battle, Joonghyuk appeared in front of him and landed a deep slash across his chest.
"You bastards!" White Star screamed, letting sharp-edged wind run free.
Cale grunted, immediately putting up the indestructible shield in front of Joonghyuk.
"Dokja! Shouldn't we help them?!" Sangah asked, feeling the pressure.
'No, that bastard can die for all I know.' Dokja was still upset with Joonghyuk. "Just focus on keeping the lackeys away from them!"
Sooyoung laughed. "That prideful punk can beg us if he really needs help."
Cale looked around, looking for Choi Han. Then he remembered, he was evacuating the nobles when they got teleported, 'shit...'
Just as the wind stopped and they got back on their feet, a large figure loomed over the clouds.
"CALE-NIM!!" The voice came from the skies.
'Choi Han.' It clicked inside Cale's mind like a switch.
"Human! Are you alright?!" Raon, along with Choi Han, ran towards him. "I'm sorry I couldn't get here faster, if I had known sooner that he's was alive, I would've turned him to ashes quicker!" His gaze became menacing as he glared at the villain, the air around him became dense.
"Raon.."
Cale began to speak, but he was quickly silenced by the strong mana gathering by the center of the battlefield.
