Today, Y/N awoke to the soft glow of his screen, the gentle hum of his computer echoing in the quiet room.

Lumi, now a constant presence, flickered nearby, her small form a reminder of the strange turn his life had taken. He felt a wave of determination wash over him. It was time to mend the broken bridges, starting with the friends he had isolated during his downward spiral.

First, he thought of Kirishima. The guy had always been a steady presence in his life, someone who radiated positivity, but even he had been pushed away.

As Y/N navigated through his thoughts, he recalled how much Kirishima had genuinely cared, always reaching out despite Y/N’s silence. There was no way he could ignore that anymore.

Y/N grabbed his phone, took a deep breath, and sent Kirishima a text.

"Hey, can we meet? I need to talk.”

He glanced at Lumi, who was curiously observing his every move.

Y/N: You think I can fix this?

She bobbed her head, her expression unwavering.

Lumi: You can! Just be honest.

He nodded, still feeling nervous and scared, but he HAD TO make it right.

Later that afternoon, Y/N found himself outside a small café where he had arranged to meet Kirishima. As he waited, anxiety began to bubble beneath the surface.

Would Kirishima even want to see him after everything?

When Kirishima arrived, he wore that trademark sharp toothed grin, though Y/N could see the hesitation in his eyes. They exchanged awkward hellos before settling into a booth, as Kirishima decided to break the ice.

Kirishima: Hey, man. How you been?

Y/N: I...

Kirishima sighs and looks at him.

Kirishima: We were worried, you know? Me, Mina, everyone in class, and especially Hikari.

Y/N stayed silent, fidgeted with the edge of the table, the weight of guilt heavy on his shoulders.

Y/N: I know, I-I didn’t mean to push you away. I just… got caught up in my head. With USJ, and how everything turned out, it was just-

Kirishima cuts Y/N's words in between, a serious expression overtaking his usual cheerfulness.

Kirishima: Look, we all have our struggles. I just wish you had let us in. We’re your friends, Y/N. We wanted to help.

Y/N looks at Kirishima, guilt clear in his eyes.

Y/N: I get that now. I should’ve trusted you. I should’ve trusted all of you. I was a terrible friend, and I... I know that I've messed up bad, but please, I'm really sorry.

Kirishima smiled softly, and for a moment, Y/N felt a flicker of hope.

Kirishima: It’s good to hear you say that. But… there’s something else.

Y/N raised an eyebrow, sensing the weight of Kirishima’s next words.

Y/N: What is it?

Kirishima sighs, as he looks at the table.

Kirishima: Mina’s having a tough time with all this. You know how much she cared about you, right? She felt betrayed when you shut everyone out.

The mention of Mina made Y/N’s heart sink. He could only imagine the hurt he had caused her.
