The arena glowed with cheers and talks about the tournament, as Mic started to speak.

Mic: And now... Hold onto your popcorns and drinks! We have seen students give it their all and more throughout the entirety of this festival! Let's have a cheer for those who made it this far!!!

The crowd erupts in cheers and claps for the 4 semi-finalists, their cheering being audible miles away from the stadium.

Mic: Without further ado! Let's head into the first semi-finals matchup! 

Y/N steps out of the entrance, the crowd cheering at seeing him.

Mic: In one corner, don't let his calm exterior fool you, folks, because this kid is a tech genius! With a brain sharper than a katana and a quirk that turns scraps into weapons, he's always three steps ahead! Give it up for the walking supercomputer! Y/N! COLOMAR!!!

The crowd erupts in cheers, as Y/N spreads his arms out wide, taking all the cheers in, and steps inside the battle area.

Mic: And in the other corner, this guy's ice-cold precision is enough to freeze your soul! Half fire, half ice, and ALL power! He's the hero-in-the-making with the coolest quirk in town! Make some noise! For SHOTO! TODOROKI!!!

Shoto keeps staring at Y/N, his stoic expression clashing with Y/N's cocky one.

Midnight: Are both the contestants ready?!

Y/N: Y/N online! If y'all get the reference, go touch some grass!

Shoto: He's right.

Y/N: *le gasp* You see them too?!

Midnight: Uhh... Battle, start, I guess...?

Shoto wastes no time as he slams his foot on the ground, as a large wave of ice goes right after Y/N, who jumps and rolls to the side as he quickly starts to run towards Shoto.

Y/N: I'm easily at a heavy disadvantage here in terms of quirk. But I got a plan.

He jumps and swings his leg to attack Shoto, but the latter swiftly dodges it, as Shoto shoots another attack of ice, and Y/N just barely dodges it.

Y/N: I've already got you figured out, Todoroki! Reluctant to use fire, and the ice spreads out as it covers more distance. At a closer distance, it's much easier to dodge your ice!

Y/N dodges another attack, as he manages to land a lucky hit at Shoto, but the boy blocks it. 

Shoto grits his teeth, seemingly seeing what Y/N was trying to do, as he shoots another ice attack, but Y/N dodges it again.

Soon enough, instead of a plain and straight field, it was a wasteland filled with nothing but ice, making it hard for even Midnight to see what was going on.

Mic: WOAH! LOOK AT THAT! Todoroki's turned the arena into a frozen battlefield! But Y/N's not backing down either! He's weaving through the ice like it's nothing! Can he keep this up?!

Y/N sprints across the icy terrain, slipping slightly but using his agility to regain balance. He skids to a halt, panting lightly as he assesses the situation. The ice-covered arena glistens under the sun, reflecting blinding light in all directions.

Y/N dodges another attack, but slips a bit on the ice, but manages to control himself, but Shoto pushes Y/N, making Y/N skid back a bit, as he starts to slip.

Y/N: Woah-ho-ho!

He is forced to get on all his fours, as he looks ahead and sees an ice boulder heading towards him at a rapid speed, as the screen freezes.
