Apparently, Chan and I weren't on the same page when he said 'take us home'.

So--

We ended up halfway to my apartment before I realized that we weren't going the right way to get to his house.

Also meaning, that we had an extra thirty minutes in the car, considering Chan was driving extra slow in the snow. And when I asked why we were going five miles an hour--he promptly--and proudly--stated it was because there was a baby in the back seat.

I mean, I appreciate it, especially considering Beomsun's car seat isn't in the car.

But five miles an hour is a bit excessive.

Still, I appreciated it. Even if my balls were frozen in the time it took us to get back to his house. It was too damn cold outside for his car to really keep the car warm, which really just worried me that my baby might be getting cold in the back seat.

I can't imagine how freezing he must be. I should've sat back there with him and cuddled him. He'd be safer in my arms too.

When we finally arrived back at Chan's house though, the alpha carried Beomsun inside and got the pup set up in his room with some heated blankets. Then, he gently nudged me out of his room as I supervised, making me softly whine as the alpha dared to come between me and my pup after he'd gone missing for awhile.

"Sorry." He apologized softly, showing me a sweet smile. "I didn't want to talk to you in front of him. I just..." The alpha's eyes fell. "Us losing Beomsun is a hell of a reason to want to break up with us. I wanted to know...how mad you are at us. Are you gonna leave us for this? I wouldn't blame you if you took off and never talked to us ever again. I'm sorry, Felix. I don't know how any of us could ever make this up to you..."

I scoffed at him. "I'm not happy about it, but I'm not going to go as far as breaking up with you guys. This just means that I have a lot to teach you about five year olds. This is also just a lesson for me too. I shouldn't have trusted you guys to watch him so soon into our relationship. You guys aren't parents. I should've thought to tell you to how hard he would need to be watched. I've been with him for years and had a long time to learn, so I'm just on autopilot when I need to take care of him. This just means that I need to consider your lack of instincts when it comes to these things. I am upset. But I'm willing to let you guys redeem yourselves."
